Lovely old style hotel right in the centre of Merida. Enormous room - junior suite- with comfy bed and lots of little extras. Very nice breakfast in the courtyard and discounted food and drinks in the bar. Valet service for car which we really appreciated. Charming owner who chatted with us several times. Quiet pool for relaxing after a hot day’s sightseeing. Fantastic place.

Ein koloniales Schmuckstück in der Mitte von Merida. Sehr ruhig trotz der zentralen Lage. Ein traumhafter Patio, in dem das hervorragende Frühstück serviert wird. Stilvolle Ausstattung der Zimmer. Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal und dazu ein Eigentümer, der sich um das Wohlergehen seiner Gäste kümmert.
Sehr empfehlenswert, wir werden dort bei unserem nächsten Besuch ganz sicher wieder übernachten.

The staff, location and charm of an older property are lovely. Appreciated the makeup mirror and 2 luggage racks! Largest bathroom ever!!
It needs a little bit of TLC, mostly due to the age, weather, and humidity but the property is lovely and well kept overall. Our air conditioning stopped working, which the staff tried to correct and offered to move us, so it was not a problem but a little updates would be nice. New makeup wash rags, new soap dish, … Too much stuff on the the table and furniture so no where to put our things.
This hotel certainly deserves its 5 star status. The owner Raul and his wonderful team ensure you have a wonderful, relaxing stay. The pool, which is reserved for hotel guests, gives a welcome break after exploring Mérida. The central location is perfect for exploring the city. We will definitely return.
Attentive staff, large bedroom stunning courtyard for breakfast
We really, really enjoyed our stay at Merida Mansion Boutique Hotel. The hotel used to be a house now owned by the grand son of the original owner and is absolutely stunning. The inner courtyard with its fountain and luxuriant vegetation draws you in as you walk through the front door, taking you to a different era of slow life and exceptional service. We felt totally spoilt during our stay by the charming staff and their constant attention to detail, from preparing a day bag with towels, mosquito repellent and caps for our excursion the next day to organising an earlier breakfast one morning we wanted to leave early for our daily trip or leaving us a framed picture of us having breakfast as a souvenir to take home. We absolutely loved our stay at the Merida Mansion.
The breakfast menu was amazing. On Saturday we had a full brunch. The other days we ordered off of a menu. The staff was ready for us no matter what time we arrived each day and treated us like royalty in every way.
Really, we have no suggestions for improvement. No stones were left unturned in this hotel. We have never experienced a hotel that is managed like this one. Perfection!
Mansion Mérida delighted us with its old world charm, decor, and staff. Having someone playing the piano while having breakfast was a beautiful touch. The courtyard seating for breakfast with its beautiful surroundings was magnificent. Highly recommend.

The room was spectacular, the location of the hotel is perfect to visit Merida, the building itself is amazing.
Breakfast was very good too with a lot of variety, we also appreciated the swimming pool in a quiet area of the hotel and got a really good massage!
Nothing, everything was just perfect
The hotel’s courtyard setting is charming, and the breakfast buffet offered a nice introduction to local cuisine. The owner went out of their way to make us comfortable, including arranging transportation and a late checkout.
Our first room was unpleasant due to a sewage smell and lack of windows, but we were quickly moved to a much nicer room in the main courtyard. Overall, the place feels dated yet charming, and the breakfast would have been ideal if it were served warmer.
Personeel is ongelofelijk klantgericht! De manager komt je bij het ontbijt altijd even polsen of je tevreden bent en of er iets beter kan. Wij kregen een upgrade! Het hotel is ideaal gelegen. De auto wordt geparkeerd en gehaald door de medewerkers.
De kamers zijn verouderd maar alles werkt perfect. Een douche in het bad is minder aangenaam maar het is een zeer goede douche.
