Mansión Mérida Boutique Hotel - Restaurant

The hotel’s courtyard setting is charming, and the breakfast buffet offered a nice introduction to local cuisine. The owner went out of their way to make us comfortable, including arranging transportation and a late checkout.

Personeel is ongelofelijk klantgericht! De manager komt je bij het ontbijt altijd even polsen of je tevreden bent en of er iets beter kan. Wij kregen een upgrade! Het hotel is ideaal gelegen. De auto wordt geparkeerd en gehaald door de medewerkers.

A wonderful hotel with genuinely caring service that makes you feel at home. Everything was perfectly clean, the location is great, and the breakfast was excellent. We really loved our stay and would gladly come back.

Mansion Merida is an exceptional place to stay in the historical center of Mérida. The Hotel is very beautiful with an incredible garden courtyard. The rooms are large with very comfortable bedding and great bathrooms. When we entered our room, there was a beautiful display of balloons and a happy birthday card along with a birthday cake and fresh fruit.
We had breakfast every morning which was delicious with a great variety of Yucatán and traditional foods. But the most exceptional part of our stay was the friendly staff and the owner Raul, who made our stay exceptional. He took the time every day at breakfast to come over to our table and ask us if we need anything and how we enjoyed our stay. On the first morning he took a photograph of us at the breakfast table and told us it would be a surprise. The next day, when we re-entered our room we found a frame photograph with a personal note from him, wishing us all the best. We look forward to returning and staying here again soon. We recommend I’ll fellow travelers to stay here
without hesitation.

Beautiful architecture with a great history

We had a wonderful experience at Mansión Mérida. The hotel is absolutely stunning—elegantly decorated with attention to detail in every corner. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a very comfortable bed and a large, modern bathroom.

The courtyard is a real highlight—peaceful and gorgeous, the perfect place to start the day. Breakfast was excellent and served right in the courtyard, which made the experience even more memorable. From breakfast to dinner, the food was consistently outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

The pool area is another standout feature—clean and inviting, surrounded by beautiful murals and lush plants that create a calm, serene atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind after exploring the city.

The staff were warm and attentive throughout our stay, and the owner, Raul, was especially personable, making us feel right at home. I highly recommend Mansión Mérida to anyone looking for a refined and relaxing place to stay. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Property is full of history and stories. Each corner is full of artifacts from the past and that gives a great chance to see what was Merida up then. Wonderful location, staff is extra helpful.

Mais Par dessus tout , nous avons été stupéfait par la passion que le maître des lieux Mr Raùl Casares insuffle à son établissement , chaque hôte y est reçu avec une distinction toute particulière qui vous fait vous sentir chez vous , tout cela avec élégance , sincérité et humour .
Cet hôtel est une parenthèse hors du temps que je recommande fortement aux amoureux de bon goût .

We chose to stay at the well recommended Mansion Merida, one of many boutique hotels in the historic center. We still can’t get over the 35 foot ceilings in our room that overlooks the comfortably lively, beautiful Parque Hidalgo. The Mansion Merida was on the excellent tour we took offered at no cost from the City’s Info Point. Our knowledgeable multilingual guide pointed out that the Mansion was the original “social” club that welcomed, not only men, but women and men of all races. It has been recently refurbished in historic style by the grandson of the original owners, who sets a high bar for welcoming guests to this place of comfort. We especially loved its elegance, the lush park below our window, the internal patio and tropical swimming pool and the entire staff who not only responded to our requests, but anticipated our needs, before we did.
