Hard beds and pillows, need for maintenance, smelly and noisy

I stayed in the one-story unit, #124. The toilet flush does not work and I was later able to read in Google reviews that there have been complaints about this before which are obviously being ignored. I filled the trash can with water and flushed it this way. Deadbolt did not work either and I had a creepy guy sitting in his car outside my room all night. The 2 pillows were flat as pancakes and the bed was similar to what I imagine a jail bed would feel like. I heard some rooms look more updated and modern, this one however looked pretty beat up still. Not a comfortable stay, very noisy, weird smells, but ok for one night, especially travelling with a dog for no extra fee. Motel 6 are hit and miss. This wasn't the worst I stayed at but not the best either.

The one thing that was good was that they accept dogs without an additional fee

Cons:

Everything! It was dirty, mold in the bathroom, the tub had water coming up constantly . The staff was very rude, specifically the older guy who tried to up charge me when we wanted to extend our stay . It wasn’t until my husband came in that he was okay with the original price . He tried charging me an extra $70!!! The only reason we were stuck here was because we had to bring our dogs last minute!
