Amaris Hotel Sunset Road

Great Hotel in time of need. Good value for the price ! Room price includes a clean bed, hot showers, security, attentive staffs, and free breakfast.

I came here after looking for a simple and good value place to stay near Kuta and close to the airport. I have some business to do in Ubud, but I have a full-day driver and the distance from Ubud to Kuta is not that far to cover.

This hotel is cheap and has good location, walking distance to Carrefour, but the rooms are very small. Our double bed room felt smaller than the twin bed room our kids stayed. No shower curtain so the bathroom gets very wet, but shower has very good pressure and hot water is good. Bed linens felt good and mattress is good. Breakfast is very simple, one fruit, syrup juice, some Indonesian food. There is a water dispenser in each room and it includes hot water. We didn't use the pool. I would only return for a night. We were not planning this night in Bali, so it suited our need. Staff very attentive.

i had booked from their website directly and made a mistake about the date. so i call the hotel and they kindly reschedule my stays with no extra charge.

amaris is a budget hotel network in indonesia. when i say budget hotel is mean its only good for budget traveller that spend most of their day outside.

room is clean and comfortable. toilet is good. they located in the sunset road where all business and store located.

but there is an auto workshop next to it, so sometimes is quite noisy especially in day time.

This hotel located in a quite strategic area.
But...... this hotel really need more attention.
The towel still have dirty mark on it, like old towel. The shower need to be change, the soap quality bad...
Room size too small but ok... its a budget hotel.
The wall in the corridor dirty... need to clean up or repaint.
My concerns all about cleaness, the bed sheet still have dirty spots and looks old.
Towel towel really need to be change.
In the bathroom... there are no shower curtain,
When we taking bath.... the water will splash every where, if i see from the desight should be a dry bathroom.
Breakfast quite good.
Yup.... this hotel needs more attention about quality, cleaness and tidiness.

Very good hotel with comfort room and friendly staff, breakfast very good also.
But just there 1 slipper in my room, I think staff must give 2 slippers bcs there are 2 persons in the room.
But over all is very good👍

i was there for two night and got amazed with this hotel, nice room decoration, cleanliness, friendly staff and i love the "mini" pool xoxo
maybe it will be a good value price when the room wasa include with the breakfast

The hotel staff is very friendly, the internet connection is good, the hotel location is strategic near to the tourist attractions and shopping, breakfast with the standard food, the hotel room is clean but the bed linen and pillowcases are dirty, the pool is also dirty there is dead worm in the pool.

Hot water was broken and the hotel staffs did NOT want to fix it.

Room are small, bed are comfy. Shower pod is ok, TV and aircon works well. The staff are friendly and efficient.

Wifi works fine and fast enough.

The only issue is water came out from the shower is dirty (black) at the time i'm staying.

Location wise this hotel is quite strategic and only 10 minutes to Legian or Kuta.

This hotel is one of most popular budget hotel in Indonesia. Amaris hotel is best choice, because is not expensive for stay here. This location is also strategic in Sunset road. Near from the airport, Kuta, Legian and Seminyak. This Amaris Sunset road offering you a pool behind the restaurant. Friendly staff and helpful. Makes me comfortbale.

I don't know a lot about budget hotel, but i tried Harris Hotel before and this hotel far from what i call a proper hotel room.
The room is dirty, i mean the floor is sticky, oily, dusty (imagine that), the walls are stained, the table is dusty, the bathroom is smelly and the floor is mossy.
If you have more budget, i suggest you to book another hotel. I really disappointed and i didn't expect the room would be this dirty. I don't mind small room, but smells good and clean. But this is horrible for me.
My friends and I thought the rooms would be better than this, because we saw the pictures in the website....but the reality is a lot different.

First impression from the lobby was, it was already bad. There is only one lift for everyone to acces their rooms. The room was dirty and i think it definitely is'nt a hotel worthy, kind of room. Like the sheets, it looks like it was not cleaned or it was old or just really low quality... Especially the towels.. Although the tv and aircon works great. The room is definitely small. The toilet reminds me of a toilet in a hospital it just looks depressing... Went to bali few years back, Bliss surfer hotel and harris hotel was waaaaaayy better than this.

Handily located for the airport, the Amaris Hotel Sunset Road is located on one of the busiest roads in Bali. That said, its been carefully designed so the rooms all overlook an internal courtyard, so traffic noise was not a problem from our room (fifth floor, towards the rear). The hotel is well run, the staff friendly and efficient and the buffet breakfast is excellent by budget hotel standards. The rooms are simple, basic, comfortable and clean, while the WiFi can be very slow during busy periods. There was also a slightly 'drains' smell from time to time. If you want a hotel within walking distance of the attractions of Kuta, this isn't a good choice - you've got a six lane highway to navigate to start with - but if you want a spot near the airport, or are planning to explore Bali by car, then this is a good budget option.

i spend 3 night in this hotel with my family, the room itself is nice. the staff is helpful also, they always clean the room everyday when i went out. the issue for this hotel is the shower in my room is leaking and the breakfast is so so.

We stayed for 1 night on 223 only for transit before we went to Jakarta. Staffs were nice. There're some nice restaurants nearby, but the hotel was soooo noisy because of the guests, traffic on the road, and the restaurant close to the hotel. Breakfast was hopeless. I've stayed in some other Amaris Hotels before, and I can say those ones were much better. Anyway, I think the place is nice for transit because it's easy to reach and foods are everywhere.

Taking only 10 minutes from Airport, arrived there and welcome by friendly staff. I saw long swimming pool behind the breakfast lounge at ground floor. Staying in 3rd floor, so we could see many kids swim happily. The property was clean, it locates in the edge of main road. Good breakfast with various menu. And very quiet at nite, its surrounding was not crowded, so we were in good night-sleep. Good for business man.

Well , ive stayed here a few times alr , the staffs was very nice they really helps during check-in and check out , the room was very clean for a 2 star hotel its was very unexpected , i can say the cleanliness is already on 4 star hotel standard but yeah the breakfast taste good but well theres not many choices and the pool is indoor so i cant tan but for a 2 star hotel i will really recommend this place !

i got standard & practical facilities, verh helpful & considerably efficient. sleep conveniently, free wi-fi, a small swimming pool to keep myself fresh & fit :-) standard breakfast & friendly staff. most importantly, it is located on the main road which is surrounded with shops, spa & nice restaurants. easy to go anywhere incl to the airport

This hotel has a great location and the Receptionist was very friendly and smile (sorry I can not remember his name, he is good always smile to the guests, thank you !!), check in process was very smoothly. We stayed there in 2nd floor # 223, the room was clean and comfortable. We have a nice breakfast. We will recomend this hotel and will come back again soon.
