This will be our go-to place for future U of F visits.
Pros:

We liked the proximity to U of F, the complimentary evening "snacks" (more of a meal!) and drinks were a great bonus.

The staff was very helpful in suggesting places for us to visit and in checking that we were happy with the accommodations.

Cons:

Parking limitations. During our stay several work crews stayed at the hotel and used over a dozen parking slots for 3 to 4 work rigs.
The hotel staff told us that they do their best to prevent this but it's difficult.

I love the location very much, it has so much to offer when shopping while on vacation, and easy access to I-75

A patient at Shands hospital. Many hours spent in room would have been better with some movies to watch.

An overpriced, uncomfortable stay that felt more like a noisy roadside motel than a hotel worth the cost.
Pros:

Nothing really other than it being close the the convention center I had to go to.

Cons:

For the price I paid per night, I expected a much nicer room. Instead, it had a strange “clean but dingy” odor, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable and lumpy. I felt grimy the entire time. I’ve never stayed in a cheap motel, but that’s exactly what it felt like.

To make matters worse, it’s right next to I-75, and the walls are paper-thin—you can hear everything. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I could have paid less and stayed at a much nicer hotel just 10 minutes away.
