Ok but not as Grand as the name
Pros:

The location. Room size was good. Helpful having a washer/dryer.

Cons:

In need of a refurb. Huge deep bath to climb in and out of to get a shower, especially for us older generation.
Apart from one young man that booked us in the majority of staff were very stand offish and just totally ignored us.
We booked for 7 nights but left after 6, just wanted to get home for some comfort.

Hotel and staff lovely with secure parking and plenty of eateries on hand.
Pros:

Room very good and staff very very helpful. Evening meal went to one of many restaurants for good food.

Cons:

Good outlook from balcony found staff lovely and room more than adequate.

Good Stay in Townsville
Pros:

Room was a good size and suited my needs. Reception staff were friendly. Location was good, dinner options in close proximity.

Cons:

Room smelt a little funky on arrival but after opening the doors and circulating some air it was all good.
