Excellent hotel and location.
Pros:

We had an adjoining room arrangement for my wife and I and our two sons.
The location was excellent and we got a 'lazy Sunday' checkout at 6pm the next day (at additional cost). This was perfect as we were walking from the hotel to the NRL stadium that afternoon at 5:30pm. The kids and I used the hotel pool which was fun.

Cons:

The iron and ironing board need replacing.

Pros:

Everything is within walking distance, convenient parking spot, very friendly staff, nice and clean rooms, comfortable beds. We only stayed one night but had a great time.

Staff were really lovely and 24 hr reception is very important.
Good location for Magnetic Island Ferry.

Cons:

Didn’t like that there are no bar, restaurant or lounging areas within the “hotel”.
