TWO NIGHTS WITH MY WIFE AND 2 YEAR OLD SON AT EXECUTIVE SUITE
Pros:

All the staff I had dealings with were polite. Also, the staff were ready and willing to assist whenever I needed assistance. The supermarket inside the hotel premises is very helpful especially considering that the hotel is inside an estate and thus a bit distant from the shops. The hotel is a two-storey but doesn't have a lift, however the staff always assist with moving our bags when we needed assistance. I liked the complimentary breakfast - it has enough varieties for a light breakfast. Also the breakfast menu was different over the two mornings we had breakfast there. Also, the serenity of the environment is great for anyone after having a busy day in Lagos. Electricity is also 24 hours - when Nepa do their usual, their backup generator kicks in. They have a swimming pool and a gym on site. Overall, we really enjoyed our two nights at PAH. Please note that at the Supermarket on site, the POS CARD LIMIT for purchases is 500 Naira and the POS TRANSFER LIMIT for purchases is 1000 Naira - so it will be wise to have a little cash at hand if you intend to buy something worth say 499 Naira and below.

Cons:

The Wifi Network was not constant, so there were times when we could not use the Smart TV. However they were working on it as at the time we departed.

First and foremost, before i arrived at the property, as a constant traveller around the world that has stayed in a lot of hotels, i had made reservations for optional accommodation around the Island, just in case i had to make a last minute decision not to go to PAH, after reading the reviews, i decided to give it a try.
Looking back now i will gladly say,i t was the best decision i made to stay at PAH. What made the hotel special was not just the calmness and serene nature of the hotel, the hotel provides that serenity any guest requires after a chaotic Lagos city life.For me,PAH is unique because of the training i consider most of its staff have received from the management. Kudos to the management of the hotel.
Starting from the receptionists/front desk staff, to the kitchen staff, to the housekeeping, and the manager Mr Emmanuel. They all went that extra mile to ensure their guests were happy and satisfied with every aspect of the hotels services.I will like to give special thanks to the hotel manager Mr Emmanuel, for making our stay special, also i will like to give special thanks to the entire front desk staff for their professional services(Peter, Shuaib, Ruth, Chidinma, Marvelous, Elisha) and to the entire kitchen staff, Segun,James,and the man that is responsible for frying the morning eggs, cant remember his name, my apologies.Also to the entire housekeeping staff as well.
The fact that the hotel has a super market/convenient store on the property where guests can shop for daily items without having to leave the property is good.
You all made my our stay very memorable, and by the grace of God we will not only highly recommend PAH, to anyone that wants to visit Lagos and looking for a place to enjoy their stay, we plan to be back at PAH, in the future. My advice to any visitor to Lagos that is considering a location to stay that will meet almost all their expectations.Just go to Park Astoria Hotel. You will not regret your decision.

Let's put it down to experience!
Pros:

The staff were great! Attentive, kind and helpful!

Cons:

The place needs major upgrade and maintenance. I chose the presidential suite, which was anything but that. A budget hotel in Europe would fare better.
The restuarant would be described as a canteen. Breakfast took me back to my days in boarding school. I was skinny in those days.
Finally no one tells you that a code is needed to access the estate where the hotel is. I sat at the gate waiting for it.

I decided not to extend my stay.

Pros:

Courteous and friendly staff, they are very prompt at attending to requests
Property is clean and it’s is located in a secure estate secluded from noise and air pollution of Lagos
Food is good

Cons:

The hotel would pass for a 5 star if little maintenance issues can be fixed (leaky AC, minor cracks on the tiles)
Breakfast is one per room, contrary to hotels in other parts of the world, this should be clearly stated on their page so guests can make an informed decision
Overall, our stay was good
