Amazing hotel, one of the best I have stayed in. From the moment I checked in the service from all the staff was great. The rooms were spotless and the facilities fantastic. The bed was comfy, the shower was brilliant and the decor just made it. Breakfast had plenty of hot & cold choices. Honestly best hotel in Dublin and the location is only a few minutes walk from Temple Bar.
Great location! Near shopping centers and pub's 🍻😁. Atmosphere is 🔝. Room is perfect, new and clean. Many thanks to Marija for the best breakfast😊
A beautiful newly renovated hotel and restaurant. The rooms are very comfortable and everyone working here is friendly, professional and helpful, especially Isra in the restaurant. We have eaten out at other restaurants three times so far but the Mercantile has been the best food by far. I love the decor, they put thought into all of the little details. It’s nicer than a lot of four star hotels I’ve stayed in.
Great hotel with great staff! So lovely, cozy and classy. The breakfast Marija prepares every morning is amazing! Would go again just for that!
Eabha was the absolute best. Such a sweetheart during every interaction. Gave great recommendations and made our stay so wonderful.
Cosy double was perfect for a single person to be in for two nights - small but comfortable. Staff were available at any time and everything felt clean. Love the decor as well!!
Fabulous hotel in a prime location and in walking distance to all of Dublin’s attractions.
Wonderful, very helpful and friendly staff from the reception to the restaurant, in particular Marija, the restaurant manager- great atmosphere.
The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of foods fresh to order or pastries, fruit and yogurt.
The room was comfortable, but compact . The bed was extremely comfortable.
Definitely great value for money and would certainly stay here again if I come Dublin.
Thank you.
Great location. Cool design. Comfortable beds. Good value and I will stay there again. Friendly helpful staff too
Our server Mirella was so attentive and caring ! Ordered the wings and the Han Hock croquettes which were both delicious and the wait time wasn’t long at all ! Cocktails were great also!
In the CenteLocated right in the heart of Dublin! The location is perfect for starting a pub crawl, whether you want to hit the famous Temple Bar area or find some hidden gems away from the tourist traps. Most sights are within walking distance, so you won't waste time on buses, taxis, or Ubers. Just step out of the hotel and you’re right in the middle of the action!r to go to
Very nice hotel in the heart of Dublin! Rooms were nicely decorated and clean. Staff were so friendly!! It really made a difference when I arrived after a long flight at 6am or when I dropped my phone in a hard to reach place in the hotel restaurant. Such a great option especially for the price!!
Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff from check in to departure. The rooms are very pleasant, super clean, and comfortable, and the adjacent lounge, bar and restaurant were beautifully done with tasteful food and menu options. The price was very good for the location and the neighborhood in Central Dublin can’t be beat; we walked to all local pubs, restaurants and attractions, like Trinity College, the Temple Bar, Guinness and churches. nearby. We would stay here again without hesitation.
Great hotel and lovely staff. The only downside was the noise in the room — it was really disappointing and would put me off booking again.
An amazing hotel looks a lot more expensive than it actually is, the staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you rooms were always cleaned and spotless. And it situated right in the middle of Dame street near all the restaurants and bars where the night life is brilliant a lot of live singers last night in peader kearneys bar was so much fun and just up the road from the hotel.Overall I would advise anyone who’s looking at the mercantile hotel to book it and I will definitely be going to Dublin as again and staying there. Many Thanks to the staff for making my weekend so pleasant and enjoyable

Stayed in a triple bed bedroom with friends. Extremely comfortable with sound proofed windows. Very clean and quiet at night hotel. Excellent location. Would definitely stay here again
Fantastic location , beautifully decorated throughout.
Spotless clean and friendly staff.
Didn’t get the chance to eat or drink here but will most definitely return
Excellent hotel central to the Temple Bar district of Dublin. We absolutely loved staying at this hotel, it has lots of character and very friendly staff. We stayed in a deluxe double room which was spacious and a perfect size for the two of us for a two-night stay. The room was very clean and we loved the bathroom! The room was around £225 for two nights (through Hotels.com) and we would have absolutely no issue paying this to stay again. There is a bar/restaurant attached the hotel and although we didn’t dine here, there were some lovely cocktails and beverages on offer that we enjoyed! The only downside is that the hotel is located on Dame Street around a number of bars and clubs, and it did get a bit noisy at night, but the room was sound-proofed well enough. I’d also recommend to the hotel about placing softer pillows in the rooms, as all the pillows in our room were very firm, along with the mattress.
Room had 2 twins beds that were adequate for myself and sister. Water bottles (cartons) are complementary. Amenities do not include lotion and trying to pack light coming oversees for the first time you will need. Steamer for clothes worked very well. Bartender is knowledgeable of local liquors vs American.
This hotel is beautiful, ambience in the bar was great, the rooms were decorated to such a high standard and the location was perfect, a couple of minutes walk to the temple bar pubs. The hotel was well maintained and rooms cleaned to a high standard. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Rooms were well sound proofed, we had a lovely quiet stay! The value for money of this property was brilliant, for how nice and central it was, we couldn’t believe the price. We’d definitely stay here again.
Location - fantastic, could see the temple bar pub from our window. 10 mins to dublin castle, less than 30 minute walk to guinness factory. Could get a taxi within seconds. Shops, restaurants, bars, literally next door.
Atmosphere was great, very busy restaurant and bar, lively and fun to be in. Hotel has separate entrance so you can come in quietly if you want to avoid. Liveliness does not disrupt sleep however. Does take a bit of time to order drinks if popping into the bar but having watched the barstaff, this is because they make cocktails to the highest standard!
Rooms were great, bathroom was very modern. Good shower pressure. Good quality shampoo, conditioner etc. Aircon/heating. Not enough storage/hangers for hanging/folding clothes for 2 people but this was the only drawback. Suitcases fit well under the bed so thats a bonus. Great options for TV, can log into own netflix etc easily. Just remember to log out! Exceptionally clean, lovely cleaning staff and checkin/out staff. Some noise levels at night (literally in the town centre) but did not disrupt our sleep. It was christmas/new year so perhaps busier than normal.
Would definitely book this hotel again next time we come to the city and would recommend!
