Lovely stay, amazing staff
Pros:

Amazing staff, very helpful and welcoming and checking on us on a regular basis
Huge pool - perfect for swimming
Nice food selection at the buffet
Getting some lovely grilled prawns delivered to the room which were off the menu. Being a part of naturę - a bit like uks Centreparcs but with monkeys and peacocks around

Cons:

A la carte menu a bit lacking, would have been nice to have room service menu in the rooms
Blinds badly needed across the entrance door as very light - we had to hook up blinds from the side to the other side to cover the middle bit which didn’t have black out blinds
poor internet connection
Lack of fan on the veranda - it was almost impossible to sit outside it was SO hot
Terrible bread at the buffet
Communal areas in need of revamp
Shame dinner only started at 7.30 pm

Great Experience

Hotel transferred us to another property due to an overbooking situation, but they have done it very well. New hotel is also given a great experience.

Exception Spacious Room
Pros:

The room was exceptionally big. In fact a lot bigger than I imagined it. With the price I am paying, it definitely worth every penny I spent.

Great Hospitality
Pros:

Amazing hospitality and a very relaxing environment. The hotel is located in a calm and scenic area which makes it perfect for a peaceful getaway. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained. Special thanks to the staff for their warm and attentive service. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again.

Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Nature
Pros:

I missed the opportunity to stay here during my previous trip, but this time I finally experienced Occidental Paradise Dambulla. It was a wonderful stay from start to finish. The environment is peaceful, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff provide excellent service. The buffet was also very good with plenty of options. I’m glad I finally got the chance to stay here.

Pros:

The location and the atmosphere created by the resort

Cons:

The maintenance of the rooms. They changed our room but both had similar problems. Bathroom showers are moldy, towels old, wardrobe doors do not open, TV remotes missing pieces, windows and curtains not cleaned in ages, didn't have hot water until we reported and got the rooms changed.

Lovely setting and friendly staff
Pros:

All of the staff were very friendly, particularly the restaurant staff Mr Rasika, Thanuja, Dananjaya, Nawoda and Isan.

Nice big room, comfy bed and nice pool area.
