Pros:

Bra läge nära tåg- och busstation samt även till centrum. Charmigt äldre hus. Bra frukost som man fick till rummet. Välkomnande och trevlig värd.

Cons:

Lyhört och mkt ljud från gatan, men det får man väl förvänta sig i Palermo.

Breakfast was ok. Location : so-so. With a few unhoused people near the location, with occasional human waste on the sidewalk—
But otherwise safe and fine.

Preciosa habitación , tranquila, limpia y bien situada
Pros:

La habitación es impresionante, grande y bonita, desayuno en la habitación, todo muy limpio.
La situación al lado de la estación y bien comunicado.
El aislamiento de la calle es total.

Cons:

Por decir algo,hay q llamar al timbre del portal para acceder y se oye cuando llaman

Séjour court mais très apprécié
Pros:

L'hôtel est situé près de la gare et proche du centre historique. Nous avons été très bien accueillis, la personne nous a même porté notre sac jusqu'à la chambre et s'est levée très tôt le lendemain (5 h ) pour venir chercher nos bagages. Encore merci a cette personne bienveillante. Chambre simple, très propre , avec une très bonne literie. A recommander.

Perfect for train station!
Pros:

If you need to be near the train station then this is the perfect hotel! Literally a few minutes from the exit. They were really accommodating with our late check in. The room was so spacious and super clean. Had all your necessary amenities and toiletries. Would definitely recommend. Only thing to note is that once you’ve been buzzed in make sure you go up to the 5th floor where the hotel is as there is no indicator or sign where to go once you’ve entered :)

Cons:

If you don’t need to be near the train station it is slightlyyy further out than the historic centre for example. But is super close to transport links so just depends on your preference.

Ich wurde mit einem Lächeln auf den Lippen empfangen und später genauso verabschiedet. Schönes, sauberes Zimmer in sehr guter Lage (Bahnhofsnähe). Leckere und warme Croissants zum Frühstück, eine romantische Sicht aus dem Fenster auf Palermo... es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, danke!

L'emplacement idéal près de la gare et de la station de bus et à 10' du marché Ballaro et 15' du centre.
On peut s'y rendre en train depuis l'aéroport.

Pros:

Signora Maria was an excellent host!
She was incredibly kind, and thanks to her using a tablet to translate between English/Greek and Italian, our communication was flawless.
The location of Albergo Cavour is very central, just a short walk from the main train station and the city center.
The hotel is located on the 5th floor of a stunning, historic Sicilian building.
My room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated in a traditional style!!

Cons:

The only downside was a persistent, annoying noise (possibly a heat pump or laundry equipment) coming from the 4th floor for many hours of the day, which I found quite bothersome.
