Exceptional hotel with excellent facilities, staff and rooms.
Pros:

The facilities were excellent. We loved and used the pool and gym. The breakfast was superb. Staff were highly professional and helpful. All in all this is an exceptional hotel.

Cons:

Only the coffee at breakfast.

Very nice hotel would recommend a stop there but wouldn't put up with the poor breakfast mains next

Enjoyed room nice size plenty of light.

Cons:

Breakfast was a disappointment mainly the mains.My wife had egg Benedict it is was cold we even googled afterwards to check if it was supposed to be served cold which it isn't. We didn't complain mainly because we had to leave early as we were due in Newmarket to meet a tour guide at 7.45am just didn't the hassle of waiting and making a fuss !!!!!

Great place to stay
Pros:

Clean, comfortable, great location and excellent food in the bar. Love that it’s in the heart of Newmarket and surrounded by racehorses. Also, plenty of free parking.

Cons:

Nothing I don’t like - it’s my go-to place to stay when I’m in Newmarket

The location

Cons:

They over charge then charge extra for early check in
They take a deposit for extras but demand cash at the bar
Breakfast was poor ingredients and tasteless
There was no staff available at time to check out for 20 mins at 7.20 in the morning then just left.
Staff ate generally friendly but unhelpful. The massage I booked they had no booking when I left they then phoned to say there was a booking

A good night's sleep and a great breakfast.
Pros:

We stayed in the Bedford Lodge hotel for three nights, as our house was being decorated. The staff are charming and very attentive, especially at breakfast. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Location was perfect for us.

Cons:

The room we had suite 2 - didn’t have a mirror with a socket for a hair dryer / hair straighteners and a phone charger, for the room you would expect this facility. Only sockets were behind the tv unit that needed pulling out to access them.
