Staff super friendly and helpful
Hotel is very relaxing and clean
Perfect location for when you go to the races
Nothing
The room was lovely and we were upgraded to a suite as it was our wedding night. The facilities were excellent and our wedding meal was excellent. Staff were attentive and professional.
The breakfast service was poor and it took an hour to get served.
Lovely Building, good rooms, gym facilities. Good location.
Just the attentiveness of waiting staff over Sundays breakfast. Highly inefficient and we were left waiting to be seated, didn’t take our order, got the order wrong, and generally poorly managed. If it wasn’t for this, the Lodge would be an 8/9.
Nice location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable
Food and beverage service was slow and poor. Breakfast was a 25 minute wait for coffee and when breakfast arrived it was missing most of the choices. No point in complaining to the staff, as they were rushed and too busy.
The bed was comfy / pool was nice and staff were friendly
I stayed in room 123 -could t use the bath due to the plug would t secure
The breakfast experience was so poor - crowds of people not enough tables it was loud and parts of our food was sent back as was over cooked - clearly the hotel was over subscribed and this impacted quality and the experience we usually have. I felt sorry for the staff in the restaurant who were clearly under pressure
Our room and all of the public areas were immaculate, the gardens beautiful.
Nothing
Nice building & grounds. Restaurant & bar staff were friendly. Great location for Newmarket racecourse.
We were woken at 2:30am by the fire alarm going off in error. Latte cost extra at breakfast which is very poor form after we paid £370 for one night in a standard room. Receptionist at the pool was very unfriendly, told us off for not bringing our own towels (we were not told this at main hotel reception) and pointed out we had to leave by 11am.
it was ok or a 2 night stay
cost of drinks and breakfast room was a litte cramped
The hotel was extremely comfortable and clean and the staff were excellent
The pool and spa were a bit old fashioned but more than pleasent
The aircon machines outside were noisy
Great location, friendly staff, excellent food, clean, comfy bed, really enjoyed the luxury.
Bedford lodge is a great place to stay and ideal for the race’s
We stayed and went to the race’s but like other guests we had to go out of the hotel to watch the football which is very disappointing
We would have eaten and stayed for drinks if the football had been screened.
We only slept and had breakfast which was not good value for money.
We met other staying guests out watching the game.
Good location for the Newmarket Races. Stroll from the hotel to the horse gallops. The facilities good and staff very helpful.
Nothing.
