Not good
Cons:

Bathroom was falling apart…sink barely drains, toilet was plugged up when we arrived…was plunged but didn’t improve much…the hardware in the tub and shower wasn’t connected to anything…and as a kicker…they gave someone else out room while we were still in it and they got our door open late at night and our keys were deactivated. Pretty disappointed in this hotel.

Nice enough. Good location right outside the park entrance
Pros:

Great location. Could walk to a few restaurants or the small local grocery store.

Cons:

Seemed a little dated and kind of blah. Expected a little more for the nightly rate we paid.

convenient
Pros:

The rooms were spacious and the beds were VERY comfortable which is a plus!!!

Cons:

There was no mini fridge in the room and the hotel itself could use a major updating or at least a facelift. I understand it's old, but updating along the way is not only necessary, but will keep the guests coming.

A gem of a hotel for visiting N Yellowstone.
Pros:

This hotel is a gem - not posh, but with everything you might need as a base for exploring Yellowstone or S Montana. It is located on the northern outskirts of the small town of Gardiner, but only 5 minutes away from Yellowstone’s North entrance, and near to many eateries and the only supermarket in town. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and facilities in the hotel are plentiful - it has its own popular bar / restaurant, constant tea/ coffee, laundry and ice machines. The walls and ceilings are festooned with big game (stuffed!), and there are several pleasant seating areas. Best of all, the staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Cons:

Nothing - all good
