Pros:

The hotel may be a little dated, but it is beautiful none the less! Grounds are nice, it all could do with a little tidy, but still enjoyable. I enjoyed sitting at the garden tables under the parasol with my bible pad & pens, very peaceful

Cons:

I have nothing bad to say!

Lovely Hotel
Pros:

An excellent hotel with really good service. It’s a building with character not a new modern build but to us that makes it more interesting. It over looks Minehead with glimpses of the sea and Exmoor hills. Just a short walk through the gardens to the town and beach. Plently of parking space and a lovely pool and gym area which we enjoyed everyday.

Traditional hotel in an excellent location for our family wedding held nearby.
Pros:

On arrival we were told we had been upgraded. Our room was very impressive and spacious and had everything we needed.
We were attending a family wedding in Minehead and the location was excellent.
Breakfast was very good and the food selection suited us.
Throughout our stay we found to staff to be very friendly and attentive.

Cons:

We are genius Booking.Com members and understood that any food purchased as an extra would attract a 10% discount. However, on settling our bill there was no discount applied.

Thought it was, relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable
Pros:

Breakfast was good, food is good, staff was friendly, gardens was nice, hotel was lovey

Cons:

Room was nice, but few things was dusty and bathroom was dusty, I had the suite room, the tables at oak room where we had breakfast was too close together

A loverly relaxing get away
Pros:

The facilities were really nice spent some time in the jacuzzi, pool and steam room
The gardens were amazing and so close to everything you need.
The staff were loverly throughout our stay
Loverly breakfast perfect for me as I could choose what I wanted.

Cons:

That we only had one night there
I would like to have a full weekend next time
Nothing was a wrong it was beautiful

Pros:

Overall appearance of the hotel is good and it's a good location, pool very nice on these hot days.

Cons:

When you start to look more closely it's very tired in need of some TLC cracked windows and paint peeling off the inside of bathroom door, shower not very powerful. The breakfast was awful, most of the coffee choices from the machine not available, milk had gone off, orange juice tasteless, no iced water. Scrambled egg looked liked it had been scraped of the inside of the pan, pouched egg was dry served on one please of dry toast.

Very good stay in somewhere unfamiliar to us, Friendly and helpful staff, Value for money.

Good food at reasonable prices, Friendly and efficient staff, Location near the town, Free parking and nice room.

Cons:

The Jacacuzzi was out of order, No real ale on tap, the room was very hot during the heatwave although a fan was provided.

Loved it
Pros:

A great Hotel with history and well made interior architect. I loved it, old but with modern facilities in the rooms and dinning room. Staff were excellent, breakfast was perfect. Well recommend.
