The proximity to the road is a plus. The property has a huge potential.
The housekeeper Rosa cleaned our room very well. She is a great asset for the property.
The property is owned by a person who does not appreciate the potential of it. On the other hand, the lady who works in the front desk (there is only one), who is also the manager of the hotel is the person with the least costumer service skills I have ever seen. The towels were sticky and with bad smell. The whole hotel smells awful. Even though there are 2 ice machine, they don’t work. There is a sign on the broken ice machines saying that if ice is needed, go to the front desk. When we ask for ice, the lady described above said that there was not ice.
The hotel is mostly booked by workers from out of state working on the wind and solar farms. It's low cost, low frill but efficient. Its dated but what do you expect for the price? If you just need a clean place to lay your head, this is it.
Outer doors are never locked. There is only 1 full time staff member who lives on-site. In my experience, she is never at the front desk. You have to use a Ring doorbell to get her to come out of her room, and when she does, she is never happy or pleasant. You always feel like a bother. They have a sign that says they want to help you no matter the hour but it doesn't feel that way.
Room full of knots floor dirty stick no toilet paper on roll and wash rags were nasty
It was in a good location.
It was dirty, looked like dog hair on bedding, mold on seal of refrigerator, tables in room had not ben wiped down, (pulled out a little table under another at it was covered in crumbs. Bathroom sink was disgusting, toilet wouldn't flush unless you lifted lid and pushed down rubber seal so that it could fill.
Even though it is an older property it has been updated and very clean and comfortable

It was easy to get to
I guess you shouldn’t expect much for $40. The place was clean enough, the bed was the most important thing and that was acceptable. I did want to take a shower but found a used bar of soap and hair in the shower so that deterred me. Our room was right by the door to the outside and slammed every time someone left starting at 5:00 AM not impressed. The free starburst wrapper may come with your room as well
