Pros:

Room was cute and comfortable. Staff was very inviting, positive and friendly. Location was perfect for walking everywhere.

Cons:

Although I liked the separate rooms for shower and toilet, it would be helpful to have a counter or shelf in the shower room. Also, a microwave and mini fridge would be great!

Beautiful historic stay within walking distance to major Salem attractions!
Pros:

The location, the bed, and the staff were very friendly! Conveniently located within walking distance of the main downtown area as well as the commuter rail station. The windows could open for fresh air.

Cons:

The room was a bit tight, made situating the luggage and shopping items difficult. It is also an older building so the doors rattled at the slightest shift. It also was difficult to balance the room temperature comfortably.

Great location and piece of history
Pros:

Location, decor and history. Superb place. So atmospheric. Staff really pleasant and the Tavern attached is brillaint for an end of day relax with a local beer.

Cons:

Where the room was perfect for us, some may find it a bit small. Being an historic building, the bathrooms are very old fashioned and tight but ibresllt felt this added to the charm of the place. Would definitely stop again.
