Another great stay. Fantastic staff, breakfast and hospitality. Such friendly and helpful people. Breakfast such high quality it’s amazing for the cost. Thank you to all the staff.

It was a very pleasant place to stay at. I was traveling alone and stayed there for 2 nights in October 2025. The room was clean, modern, well ventilated. The breakfast was very good, so if you are considering paying extra for it it’s worth it. It’s located right next to the main train station, about 7 min walk, which makes commuting around city very easy. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and the atmosphere was less commercial and more cosy. Strongly recommend.

The welcome at reception was warm and personal, and the breakfast room was such a lovely way to start the day. I'm vegan and have several allergies, so I usually struggle to find suitable food. But here, everything was clearly and beautifully presented – just like the regular options for other guests. It was such a relief!

There was chia pudding, ginger shots, oatmeal, and plant-based milk – all delicious. My husband also really enjoyed the classic breakfast selection.

We slept incredibly well and truly wished we could have stayed more than one night.

Well run hotel that is convenient to the main station & city centre shopping, etc. Very nice & helpful staff.

I was absolutely delighted with my stay. The staff were incredible polite, attentive and truly caring — such genuine hospitality is rare to find these days. The breakfast was outstanding: varied, delicious and very interesting with something new to enjoy every day.
I highly recommend Kronen Hotel to anyone visiting Stuttgart. It’s a place you definitely want to return to !

Otelin hala anahtarla kitlenen odası ve her dışarı çıkışta anahtarı lobby ye bırakma nostaljisi hoşumuza gitti . Lobby de çalışan Dilara hanım çok yardımcıydı teşekkür ederiz. Kahvaltı salonunda kişiye özel omlet yapıldı. Biz ilk gün söyledik,sonraki günler biz söylemesekte yumurta ve içecek servisi geldi. Teşekkürler.

I will give it a 5 star because the huge negative I will write below is beyond the control of this very charming hotel. I usually find an ibis near the train station where I am headed but there was no Ibis here and I was not familiar with Motel One until I saw it here. So I ended up in Kronenhotel based upon glowing reviews and they are all justified. It is a family run boutique hotel. The staff is superb, the entire place is scrupulously clean, has a fresh, understated style, the rooms are very functional and very well appointed. Housekeeping is meticulous. I had a single bed room (154) that was quite spacious except for the very compact shower that was difficult to use for a 182” man. But it was fine for 2 days. There was a mini bar but no kettle. The a/c controls really do not work but it did not bother me because the weather was pleasant and the windows could be opened. I was first given Room 100 where the WiFi did not work and immediately moved to 154.

Now the big negative. The hotel is “close to the train station” only on the map. In reality, it took me 40 mins from the time I got off the train to reach the hotel! This is because of the extensive construction and renovation going on in and around the station that has messed up everything. It was also because I had 2 bags I was wheeling and there are inclines along the way. I was exhausted by the time I checked in. The girl at the Reception advised me to take a different route on the way back and even that took 35 minutes except it had fewer road crossings. This is fair warning if you are coming from the station. Once you reach the hotel, it is an oasis of calm!

The staff at this hotel were very welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I am usually a little skeptical of hotel breakfasts, and as an American, I am unused to the typical German breakfast of meats and cheeses. However, there were a variety of options at breakfast, and I was able to eat very well, even as a vegetarian.

The hotel courtyard is the star of this hotel. It was filled with hydrangea flowers and was such a peaceful place. I really enjoyed sitting out here surrounded by flowers with the birds chirping.

This hotel made my stay in Stuttgart very enjoyable. If I stayed again, I’d book a larger room. I only wish the room had been cooler! It got very warm in the room despite being cool outside. Opening a windows only helped a little.

The staff were exceptional as was the breakfast. Five stars on both. Our room, while spacious, had a dated decor, uncomfortable bed, and air conditioning that worked sometimes.

What a place! Following our sat nav into Kronenstraße the hotel is last on the right and to be honest initially looks a bit 70s. However it is no such thing. We were met with a very kind and professional receptionist who even walked our car into the car park as we missed the sign, exceptional service, many thanks.

The rooms are superb and the whole hotel is so clean you could carry out open heart surgery in any part of it. It's also very convenient, just off the main central area, but tucked away so it's quiet and tranquil at the same time.

Breakfast is a wow, plenty of staff, buffet style or cooked in the kitchen. We were served by one of the owners and son, brilliant, and best of luck in your son's chosen career choice.

Finally our favourite subject, the staff. Utterly charming, helpful, polite, efficient, courteous and humorous .

Very friendly welcome, great staff and wonderful choice at breakfast. A fifteen-minute stroll from the Main Railway Station in Stuttgart and clean and quiet. Five minutes walk from the main shopping and eating area and ten minutes to the Schloss Platz.

Fantastic location. Close to the train station, close to shopping, close to a park with a beer garden. The staff are tremendous the breakfast buffet is the best I’ve ever had. Loved everything about this hotel. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I did not get a chance to try the sauna, but the relaxation area was very comfortable and next time I will be prepared for the sauna. I will definitely be staying with this hotel again.

This hotel is very central very easy to walk from the main station and the tram stops and very easy to walk into the main square in town. The room was very nice with a nice bed the shower was great and all very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful the breakfast was amazing so much choice a great hotel in a good location will stay here again

At check in, staff could be more friendly and we had to pay for our 2 day stay immediately. Subsequently, we were asked several times if we wanted the room to be cleaned and if we wanted clean towels: YES we want a clean room and clean towels!! The hotel is situated close to the city center (10 min walk). The rooms need to be refurnished. Carpet floors are not very hygienic. The beds were somewhat uncomfortable. The A/C was insufficient to keep the room cool, but we could open the windows. The rooms had old fashioned room keys that had to be handed in at the reception desk when we went out. The parking has a very narrow entry which may be challenging for bigger cars.

My husband and I have spent three days in Stuttgart and we have been delighted with this hotel. It is well situated near the station and underground station but not too close so you do not hear any noise.
The breakfast was very good and there was a big choice !
The staff was helpful and friendly.
We can only recommend this hotel.
Our room was no 251, perfect not any noise.
If we come back to Stuttgart, we will come back to this hotel.

A nice hotel in a good location easy walk from station and near tram stops , very nice breakfast and very nice helpful staff

For our first visit în Stuttgart, we simply choosed a hotel with a central location to allow us convenient walks accross the city. Indeed, we enjoyied quick pedestrian access not only to the main city's attractions but also to the nearby "Hauptbanhof": S, U and trains!
But what exceeded our expectations was the warm hospitality attitude of the staff (special thanks to Ms. Luana Sirca!) and of Frau Berger herself who personnaly ensures herself that customers enjoy best breakfast offer!
