We had a lovely stay ..
The facilities of the day spa and gym was great.
Hotel parking was full but street parking was available. Staff were always friendly, we would stay again!!

Nice hotel and good area. Bit of false advertising as the main photo with the chairs next to the pool is not accessible to hotel guests so not sure why they include it in the hotel photos.

Pros:

Small comfortable room. We were only there to sleep. Beds were comfortable. The whole hotel smells beautiful. Didn’t have time to test the amenities but everything looked clean and well looked after. It’s on a quiet street. Perfect place to go home to after a busy day. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

A brilliant stay!
Pros:

The Brassey is a gem! It is elegant, historic, peaceful and beautifully decorated and appointed. Spotlessly clean, spacious room. We will stay at The Brassey every time we visit Canberra in future.

Loved the access to the gym, but not all gym areas were available. My partner is an athlete and was prepping for a competition and needed a quiet space to yoga, but the yoga space in the gym was unavailable to be accessed or used; despite the facility not being booked by a personal trainer. The gym/spa staff were not helpful towards the request to use this part of the gym facility from a hotel guest, notwithstanding that the hotel promotes access to the gym. Also the spa was not available to be accessed by hotel guests on Saturday. These were the only disappointing parts of the stay.
