City Lodge Hotel Victoria And Alfred Waterfront

It is a prime location hotel. It's newly renovated. It seems to be noisy due to construction near by

Good location near V&A Waterfront, and hop-on hop-off bus routes. Was being renovated during our visit but still good service and comfortable stay.

Clean, convenient, felt safe, walk to VA Waterfront. Fabulous breakfast buffet! Reasonable rates, comfortable room. Staff nice but a bit scattered and disorganized. They seemed overwhelmed at times.

Although they were still in the middle of renovations, the amazing staff more than made up for it. The room was great with an amazingly big and comfortable bath! An easy 8 min walk to the fabulous V&A waterfront in Cape Town. Would definitely stay there again.

Aviwe the bar tender was amazing! So attentive, engaging, alert and happy. He made our stay so much more fun! We had excellent conversations with him and have begged him to move to the UK to teach them customer service!
All the staff are fully engaged and friendly.

The hotel is currently under refurbishment and once done, will be fabulous!

Rooms - very modern and very clean! Bed on the firmer side.
Unfortunately it wasn’t until after we had booked on a third party website that we found out about the building works and then upon arrival that some amenities were not available for use.
The free parking is safe and secure and so convenient.
We would absolutely book here again in the future and are excited to see what it is like once the renovations have been completed!

We were aware the property was undergoing renovation but not to the extent that it was.
Staff and food were amazing but not sure I’d stay again as the amount of disruption was severely “underplayed”

Hotel in a great location 10 mins walk to V&A waterfront. No issues walking in evening due to security in the area. Very friendly and helpful staff, rooms upgraded, clean and comfortable.

Good option for anybody staying in Cape Town. Clean and tidy with good staff, the hotel is a nice little walk away from the V&A Waterfront. Ample parking on site.

Clean and good value

Very comfortable room and I think good value. Great location for walking, bus, Uber. Good food and drink at the bar/resto. I’d stay there again.

Great location, lovely property, helpful staff. Only reason didnt give full marks was due to some construction going on, but they're working around that best they can.

We stay here everytime when we are in Cape Town. Convenient and affordable. Swimming pool is too small though. They are upgrading the gym facility, which is good. Good value for money.

Easy to find with ample car parking. Reception staff very friendly and gave us an early check in. Room was comfortable and quiet. Great place for a weekend in Cape Town.

Traveled Solo, 3 nights. The breakfast cost extra, but good value for the money. There are nice canal views from the restaurant. Also had dinner at the restaurant 1 night. Good quality food, at reasonable prices.

The room has lots of room with a fridge, there is a convenience store a few blocks away. Can buy snacks, sandwiches, drinks, at a very reasonable price.

Took 2 tours booked by the hotel. Informative, nice air conditioned vans, also a good value,
