Nice hotel but misleading name as not at airport
Pros:

Food at the restaurant was well priced and really tasty. Nice to have hotel gym also

Cons:

It is misleading to call this City Lodge Johannesburg airport - this is not the one at the airport, which is what we thought we had booked. This is a 10 min drive from the airport and the return taxi journey cost us £50.

A good hotel and quieter than being at the airport

Cons:

It’s advertised as an airport hotel but is not at the airport. You need to take a taxi.
If you want to be at the airport be sure to book O R Tambo City Lodge.

Great hotel for day use
Pros:

Great hotel for day use with a long stop over. Staff were very attentive, rooms were clean and easy to get to from arrivals. Need to book direct with reservations to get a price. Will definitely use again.
