Worst experience in my life.
Cons:

The room was very smelly and dirty. We found a spot on the window ledge where water had been leaking in and caused a mildew smell. We roughed it out and spent the night. We left in the morning and continued on our trip about 300 miles away we stopped to use the restroom and get gas. To our surprise are car plates were missing. We contacted the hotel no help seeing how they have no outside cameras. We called Illinois State police the officer was very helpful. We ended up having to contact Michigan police and get a claim number for our stolen plates. So to sum it up don’t waste your time and money staying at this hotel. Spend a little more for a place across the road from them. You will be much happier.

It was ok.
Pros:

Price was good. Very friendly staff helpful.

There were lots of sketchy people standing outside smoking. Did not feel comfortable or safe.

Avoid if you have asthma
Pros:

The staff was cool and understanding.

Cons:

Room was FILTHY, falling apart, and just felt gross the second I walked in. It was obviously freshly smoked in, despite paying for non smoking. They had a little tree car freshener hanging from the bathroom door, the smell of cigarettes blowing from the ac as it appeared to be nearly ripped from the wall. I have stayed in roadside motels in the middle of nowhere and felt less-likely to be murdered, assaulted, or catching syphilis than I did when I entered in room 143. Thankfully there was a room at a hotel across the street. I paid double the money for it, but at least I didn't have an asthma attack, get attacked, or get any diseases. DO NOT believe the photos, it looks more depressing in person. I understand getting what you pay for...but this was an absolute nightmare. Honestly, I have stayed here in the past with no issue. Not sure what changed in the past few years, but I would NOT stay here for free.

It totally sucked l would have rather slept in my car and saved my money
Pros:

The location close to many restaurants and gas stations and l liked best when it was time for me to check out

Cons:

I didn't like the bed the ice box barely kept anything cold the microwave was filthy the bathroom had barely any toiletries l had loud people in the room next to me both nights the halls were dirty the vending machines hardly had any thing in them the breakfast was terrible
