Cons:

Musty smelling room - opened windows and had to sleep with fresh air coming in - but noisy road
Not great for seasoned traveller no shelves by bed. Can »t plug phone on by bed. One side of bed against the wall.
No lift à problem if you have joint issues.
No milk left for coffee. No water in room.

Breakfast was great. The bed was comfy. The staff were excellent. The, restaurant was excellent.

Cons:

Our room was quite small. And I paid for a slightly larger one. The floorboards were quite creaky I could hear rooms next to and above. But I did sleep. The, shower room was very clean but tiny. My partner is 6.6.

The Team were very welcoming and the hotel clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and good value for money. An easy walk into the centre of Taunton, so a very good location.

A nice hotel well situated for the town centre
Pros:

Great location close to the centre of Taunton. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff. Plenty of hot water and a comfortable bed.

Cons:

There is no comfy seating to enjoy a drink from the bar. The layout of the bedroom meant one side of the bed was too close to the wall/window for comfort. The bathroom was good but the shower screen on the bath was too short to stop water going onto the floor. The entrance and exit of the parking is narrow.
