Great location in a very secure part of Umshlanga. A very warm welcome from Asandf and Luyanda who kindly let me have an early check-in which was really important because I had a business meeting so wanted to freshen up after a very early start. Great restaurant. Lovely star. My room was brand new, modern and well appointed with all the facilities I would expect from a 4-star hotel. I would definitely visit again and I'd love the fact that you can just walk across the road to the gateway shopping centre

Location is wonderful! In the vicinity of the Gateway mall. Safe undercover parking! Staff are friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make the Comrades runners feel welcome! Even made bfast in the early morning hours for the runners.
The traffic at the mall is very busy over the weekend and sometimes you hear the vehicles till late at night, depending on which room you are in.
I love the location, the staff is generally friendly and it is Value for money. Every year I'm staying there for Comrades Marathon and the Comrades Value adds get better.
The restaurant needs to be more accommodating to us around order times especially when we have arrived late from Pietermaritzburg finish.
