Pros:

Très bien situé près du centre ville de la capitale, excellente restauration, personnel très attentif et compétent.

Lovely Boutique Hotel
Pros:

Great location if you want to see some central San Jose sights. Breakfast was a very good buffet. We also ate dinner there and it was delicious. Hotel is beautiful with an old world feeling. Staff friendly and helpful.

Cons:

You are right on a noisy street. Bring earplugs if your room is at the front of the hotel. Back area much quieter.

Beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff in a great location. And a fantastic shower too!
Pros:

Beautiful old house converted to a hotel. Great location near all the museums. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Good breakfast. The best shower I've had in Central America!

Cons:

Breakfast should start at 6:30. We had a 7:10 am departure, so we had time, but there was a whole tour group trying to eat breakfast right at 7 as they also had an early departure. A slightly earlier breakfast would be nice.

Die Lage ist sehr gut: Man ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß am Nationalmuseum. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß.

Viel zu laut, ansonsten dem Preis angemessen.
Pros:

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem schönen Gebäude. Es ist gut, dass ein Restaurant im Hotel ist.

Cons:

Wir hatten eine Junior-Suite zur Straße, dadurch hatten wir die ganze Nacht den Stassenlärm und konnten wenig schlafen, das wurde noch verstärkt dadurch, dass in unregelmäßigen Abständen ein lautes Brummen dazu kam.
Ein Zimmer in dieser Lage und mit diesen Geräuschen sollte ein verantwortungsvoller Gastgeber nicht vermieten.

On reflection 1 night would have been adequate
Pros:

It was a beautiful building and the restaurant/ breakfast area was seated in a lovely area. Staff were very friendly.

Cons:

We stayed 2 nights and no fresh towels were given resulting in drying with wet/damp towels after showering. No shower gel provided only bars of soap, also the tiled shower was slippery, needed a bath/shower mat to stand on.
