The building is beautiful historic home built by furniture maker, all the wood work is incredible. Comfortable room and bed.
Liked it all
Internet in the bedroom
excellent little hotel with small pool... my room was excellent - think recently refurbished (would have been perfect if had tea making facilities) Breakfast good.
Tea making in room would have made this hotel truly exceptional.
It’s in a good central location, the staff are friendly and helpful and the bed was comfortable
The room was very dated and whilst the bed was comfortable there isn’t much by way of comfort in the room
Really helped me out
Belle situation de l'hotel pour visiter San josé .Personel acceuillant
Les photos sont trompeuses L 'hotel est petit comme la piscine d'ailleurs
Close to city centre and main tourist sights.
Noise from street all day and most of night.
Location is very convenient for our purposes; but there is no parking lot. Restaurant OK to have in a place like this…
For the price we paid, most of it was very good
La exc disposición en recepción, siempre proponen comodidad y agilizar la estadía de la mejor manera.
Le cadre. La proximité du centre culturel.
Salle de bain exigue et mal éclairée.
Location, friendly staff and secure.
As very central could be noisy with vehicle noise early morning when in the front rooms
Very nice decor
The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was decent. The shower in the room was nice even though everything else in the room was sub-par.
1. Location: not a safe area, it seems. The streets were empty at ~7pm with no pedestrians. The restaurants/hotels used safety locks (won't open door and you had to buzz in, even for a restaurant) and seemed like any outside walk after dark is discouraged.
2. Sound of trains: this hotel is very close to a railway track and there were trains running all night. If you are a light sleeper, you will NOT get any sleep. Also, lots of bus making a lot of sound.
3. Not clean room: room was big, but not really clean. There were not cups/glass for water inside the room, which I think is a bare necessity. The floor, under bed was dirty. The room was dated and had plaster falling off at corners. Bathroom was leaking water which made the floor wet. Shower was very nice though... the best part.
4. Electrical outlet: no plug points to plug in phone chargers, etc.
5. Since we couldn't go out to eat dinner (safely concern), we had to eat at the on-site restaurant. The food quality was bad. Ceviche consisted of smelly fish, couldn't eat and had to waste. Chicken soup was extremely bland (yes, chicken soup CAN be flavorful and tasty). Sea bass was not tasty. Prices were not cheap but dinner experience was bad. The drinks were okay.
