So conveniently located near the centre but tucked away nicely. Great outside area.
Needed aircon in the room as being an old building the windows would only open a tiny bit. We were at the very top and it was stifling.

The staff were lovely and really helpful and the breakfast was very good. The hotel was in a lovely location a 15 minute walk from the station and a short stroll into the city.
Unfortunately it was very hot when we stayed and though there was a fan in the room it was still exceptionly hot in the room and the room was very noisy as we were on the ground floor.
It was a cosy little thing with all the old English vibes about it. Very friendly staff and very nice toiletries products. We were there during the heatwave and a strong little fan made the room breathy and nice.
The room was very small and the lighting was not great.
Staff were very welcoming and friendly, especially Cameron who gave us some great tips on places to eat and drink.

The bed was so comfy and the staff are very friendly and helpful
No windows apart from the one in the shower room but it didn't detract from our visit aircon unit and fan are provided in the property

House and grounds are beautiful and very nicely decorated. Staff were lovely.
The room was very small. The bed was not large enough for 2 people and the mattress sagged on one side (wife had to sleep on floor). Window would not stay open, which on a hot day made the room very unpleasant.

Rooms were large and comfy, and very nicely decorated, the bar and garden area were superb, and plenty of parking available at a reasonable cost.
