Just what we needed. A place to rest our heads for the night

The room was tidy, but it had a strong smell of mold, smelled like a wet dog was left in the room. The staff was amazing and kind and check-in was a smooth process.

Good location near shops and restaurants. The generator was too noisy during loadshedding, but they moved me to another room. Generally happy and will stay again.

The generator is very loud and they allowed guests to socialize out in the common pool area and garden after 10pm until around midnight. The guests were loud and I could not sleep until they went to their rooms. The hotel should have a policy of not making noise in public areas after a reasonable time.

Rooms are small but ok. Beds are very small. All is very clean and podition is great for our purpose. The restaurant menu is disapointing.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and neat. The only unfortunate thing about the rooms is hearing everything from the passage or room nextdoor.

Staff was Great

As good as it could be I guess. Only one comment. When sanitising the room, maybe use a weaker bleach solution that does not burn your eyes and nose for the first while when you enter the room.

We stayed for 5 nights. When we arrived on Monday evening our bedding was not clean, we assumed that it will be changed the following day. By Thursday it was still not changed, we had to call reception to get it changed.
Toilets had a funky stench as if no disinfectant cleaner was used during cleaning throughout the whole visit.

Although the service of the staff was good, the hotel was fully booked, but bar was not manned enough, and we lost all days of enjoying swimming in the pool, as it was green.

The hotel is very clean and it is in a wonderful location and near to all amenities. Just a put we didn’t have a fridge & microwave. I am not sure it that is what we were paying for. However apart from that I will ray there again.

Fairly fine but late night revellers not controlled resulting in very little sleep!

It was disappointing that there was no small/bar fridge, left over food had to be thrown away, there no where to store milk of cold drinks. The breakfast is also exorbitant.

Second time I stayed there and second time I had to go and buy Air Freshener for my room - there is just a smell that doesn't work for me which I don't experience in other Hotels or Guest Houses - not sure if it's the carpets or what? Anyway, least of problems.
I asked if I could keep my room for another day which would've ended in another two days. The lady in reception assured me that won't be a problem. When I got back the next afternoon they conveniently moved all my stuff to another room without contacting me. They claim they tried to phone me but had the wrong number - that is absolute rubbish and they know it.
So after fixing the smell and settling into my previous room I know had to start over, knowing that all my personal belongings have been touched - I really really didn't appreciate this invasion into my privacy. They seem to think it's ok and management didn't even bother to apologise, even after I wrote them an e-mail.
Anyway, they will never see me again - I went and booked into the local Protea Hotel and the look and feel was just completely different from the moment I walked in. It was easy to compare the two Hotels on all aspects and I'm happy to share my findings with anyone who cares - needless to say Protea beat them on everything except Wi-Fi and Load Shedding.
