I would come back again
Pros:

I booked a double room on Booking.com and paid for it in advance but when I arrived I was given a single room instead. I was not very happy because I thought I was charged for a double one. However, the room I got, even though it was small, was ok and I did not try to change it. The bed was very comfortable. Some other guests complained that that noise travels easy through the walls and it is true but it is not the fault of the staff. I didn't mind being waken up by my neighbor's alarm clock every morning. The breakfast buffet was traditional Turkish breakfast that I really like. The hotel is within walking distance of the sea, shops, restaurants and the university. The area is safe and there are a lot of tourists until late at night who enjoy the beauty of Izmir.

Cons:

I wish I had given the room I booked on booking but it was fine after all.

Otel çok temiz, konforluydu. Çalışanlar çok yardımcı oldular. Kahvaltı çok iyi, çeşitliydi.

Cons:

Banyoda duş jeli, şampuan olmasını beklerdim. Günel olarak iyi, sakin bir yerdi.

Decent hotel in very good location.
Pros:

Location very central for city.
Staff at reception always helpful and knowledgeable.

Cons:

Smell of tobacco smoke in the room.
Unfortunately many people in Turkey smoke. The room came equipped with ash tray. Previous occupants no doubt smoked.
Recommend hotel has rooms where smoking not allowed.

Great Location
Pros:

Our bedroom was quite big (we had the regular "Room double standard" . The hotel is in the very center of the city great spots bars and restaurants nearby and the sea is only a few hundred meters away
you can park your car a few blocks down at Reis Otopark & Yikama (we paid 400 Tl per day saying we were staying at the Mira Otel)
