Pros:

Everything was great about bushman’s. Staff were friendly and kind and the cabins were beautiful and modern. Only thing we had a bit of trouble with was a trainee at the desk who kept being left by himself and he clearly hadn’t yet been trained in some of the basic info so made it a bit difficult to get clear answers but he was lovely and tried very hard to help. Otherwise, no complaints

Pros:

We stayed in the 2 bedroom chalet. We'll appointed, but the carpets must go. !!! Disgusting smell(no mat to clean your feet when walking in from outside)... needs attention, the couches need a clean. The need were comfortable. Rooms spacious and kitchen well fitted out. We have been before, and our up with the smell of the carpets.... for the view. Food in restaurant was good

Pros:

Property is extremely dated. Bathroom is uncomfortably small. Funny smell in the room. Shower did not work properly. More interested in trying to sell you there holiday club than give service while you there.

Busy but relaxing day
Pros:

So much to do at this beautiful resort - walks, hikes, on-site facilities. Entertainment provided throughout the day.
Staff are friendly and helpful - they are stars in the hospitality service.

Must visit mountain resort
Pros:

Had the best long weekend but can easily stay for a week as there is so much to do. Entertainment and activities fill your day.
Cleanliness was excellent and staff sanitise all sports equipment. Rooms well cleaned and sanitised. Staff wear masks.
Staff are so friendly and helpful, they do the hospitalty industry proud.
Just be aware of a gravel road you need to travel on but it is worth it!

Pros:

The staff were wonderful and the food outstanding. The pool area as well as the entertainment was great. A real disappointment with the log cabin rooms, they were so dirty and need an upgrade ASAP and there is a huge problem with the flies from the stables.

Recommended for hikers
Pros:

The service was excellent! The room was a bit messy, I don’t think they managed to clean up The previous guests mess properly. The towels were still a bit wet and the toilet was unflushed and left up.

However, the food and view was incredible. The bed was comfortable and I loved the privacy of our hotel room. The staff made it all worth while and the family vibes were apparent throughout our stay!

We were able to wake up at 5am and go to Bushmans Nek game reserve to start our hike- it’s very close to the hotel! There is also a little snack shop which allows you to buy some snacks for your hike! They also provide a map at reception of trails available!

Incredible scenery
Pros:

The scenery is downright phenomenal. We stayed in the log cabin at first - then the hotel. Wow, huge difference! I'd certainly return, but not to stay in the log cabin.

Pros:

Overall place was great with excellent views, peaceful and relaxing. Dirt road of 32km so better to get to the resort during the day. There are no activities planned for Fridays as the farm is closed. Heated pool was lovely however when we got back to the room, there was no hot water, had to call maintenance to sort out which took only a few minutes.
We would go back again.

Service is outstanding and facilities are wonderful - stunning pool. Road to get there is not great so the trip took longer than expected. The hotel does need to be more environmentally friendly though - you had to run the tap for 15 minutes to get hot water, such a waste

GREAT PLACE - COULD BE BETTER
Pros:

Great place.
Not proply catering for winter, properly blankets. Fireplace fauly. Room got smoked. No daily cleaning as promised. No refil of soaps,lotion etc. Bathroom had no hooks for bath towels and clothing.

Pros:

The views were breath taking. The area was geeat. There were plenty of entertainment only downside was that it was closed on a friday. We got in on a Thursday afternoon and left on a saturday morning. The other down side was there were always additional charges for the on site entertainment, which like other resorts ive been to.
