鹿児島市内に近い。
ホテルのおもてなしがとても感じられました。
食事は、魚介類が新鮮で、地元の食材が多く考えられていました。おしゃれなお酒のつまみ感溢れる素晴らしいものでした。

Cons:

私達が利用した日は、天気が悪くて、せっかくお風呂も部屋からも桜島が見えるはずだったのに、残念な結果になりました。でも、それ以上に、ホテルのおもてなしが感じられる、素晴らしいホテルでした。大体のホテルは、良くても、もう、おしまいが多いけれど、桜島が見えなかったことにより、どーしてももう一回桜島がこの場所で見たい❣️と、思いました。

Old style hotel with beautiful views
Pros:

The hotel has a unique feeling to it. Like stepping back in time.
The facilities are great; shuttle bus to the station and tenmonkan, an onsen and a buffet breakfast with plenty of variety. The view of Sakurajima from the upper floor was also exceptional.

Cons:

The room was a little dated but that could be a plus
There was a little wait for breakfast but this was communicated to me the day before

La vue sur le volcan. La disponibilité d'un parking.

Cons:

L'accueil du personnel très moyen.Personnel suspicieux lors de l'accès à l'hôtel.Pas d'accès au balcon. Parking payant. Équipements et décoration vieillissants. Nécessiteraient d'être rénovés.Le petit déjeuner assez moyen.

Goed hotel. Koninklijk graag weer terug met uitzicht op de Sakurajima!
Pros:

Goed ontbijt. Goeie koffie. Overal in Japan trouwens freshly brewed koffie. Top!
Ja het uitzicht op Sakurajima ! En die was uitgebarsten. Het leuke eiland Sakurajima. Nog wel een aardig eindje naar de stad en Ferry maar de bus practisch voor de deur, goed te doen. Suica card niet geldig hier, wel bankpas.
Goed Frans restaurant met erg leuk personeel. Een heuse bar maar niemand erin te zien.

Cons:

Tattoo’s niet welkom in de onsen.

Find a better place than this Showa-era mammoth hotel.
Pros:

A decent breakfast buffet.

Cons:

We booked a Sakurajima view room. The room we got indeed had a view on the volcano — which served as a backdrop to a vast vista of pachinko parlors and strip malls, garishly illuminated and quite ugly. Also, the smoke from the indoor smoking area permeated the entire first floor.

水回りなど設備については築年数が経っているので古さはやむを得ないです。
一階レストラン、朝食時のオペレーションが悪すぎます。
ホテルで味わえる食事の雰囲気でない。

でも満足しました。桜島は雄大だ
Pros:

なんといっても、部屋から桜島が見える景色は、よかったです。
朝日が上がってきたのは感動的でした。
スタッフさんの気配りも良かった。

Cons:

お風呂の温度が高い。
子供が入れなかった。
浴槽が一つしかないので、逃げ道がなかった。
あと大きな宿泊施設なので仕方がないのですが、
朝食後ものすごく混んでいた。
初見では、その後の予定が厳しいかも

Pros:

The hotel's facilities are dated (in a traditional way) but our stay was very comfortable, the room was clean, and we didn't lack anything there. The view from the hotel room was spectacular and made up for the remote location. A shuttle bus to the train station and to Tenmonkan was also provided, which was convenient. We could definitely recommend the Sun Royal Hotel.

Cons:

We did not use the onsen due to the firm tattoo restriction but we were aware before, so it was not an issue.
