The Marlton has truly become my go-to hotel every time I’m in New York. I’ve stayed here several times now, and each visit has been such a pleasure. The staff is consistently kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, and they always make being back feel so special.
On my most recent stay, I was in New York for the launch of my brand, Borne, with Moda Operandi, and the team had thoughtfully left a congratulatory bottle waiting for me in my room. It was such a lovely and unexpected gesture, and a perfect example of the warmth and attention to detail that keeps me coming back.
The rooms are beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and a pleasure to stay in, and the lounge is equally wonderful, warm, intimate, and one of my favorite places to spend time while I’m in the city.
There’s something incredibly charming and welcoming about The Marlton. It has easily become my favorite place to stay in New York, and I always look forward to returning.
Great location wonderful bar and restaurant area lovely staff
Incredibly small rooms but that’s nyc
الغرف ضيقة ضيقة
الغرف ضيقة ضيقة جدا تدخل بعض فنادق تحصل حمامات اكبر من غرف فندق هاذا
The room was a bit too small for luggage after a week at sea, but other than that was perfect
Waiting for the lift and not being able to open my suitcase and let someone out the toilet at the same time
Absolute perfection! The staff is amazing — and the lobby/sitting room/ restaurant area has such a welcoming vibe. Yes, the rooms are small, but perfectly appointed. Great location. We will be back!!
The most charming hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Super clean rooms. Comfortable beds and excellent location. Wonderful breakfast. Would love to return.
From the time I arrived on July 10 until I checked out on July 14 the staff and amenities were top-notch. Everyone was willing and able to assist in anything I needed. They were a pure joy. Would definitely stay here again for the experience.

Impossibly small bathroom
The location
The room was not only tiny but it felt run down and didn't align with the pricepoint at all. There was also a HUGE construction job happening on the same corridor as our original room and we had to move. The corridors were really dingy and rundown. The 'free breakfast' only included very limited items, and no eggs of any kind. This felt quite misleading. On the second day we didn't have any breakfast and asked only for 1 fruit plate, and they said we had to pay extra for this even though we weren't eating any other breakfast, because it wasn't on the complimentary menu. We had one dinner in the hotel where they gave our food to another table and the service was insanely slow and the food quite disappointing.
The Marlton is a lovely, historic, boutique hotel in Greenwich Village. The woodwork in the lobby and the rooms is beautiful, and the decor warmly appointed. It's in a great location on a tree-lined street with neighborhood restaurants, coffee shops, bagels and more within easy walking. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small and the bathrooms tiny however you're aware of that when booking. The atmosphere in the lobby, which is like a cozy, welcoming living room and parlor, is intimate which is reflected in the dim evening lighting. Seems the dimmer could be inched up a notch and still retain the mood. With that said, we look forward to a next stay!
First time staying in the neighborhood and glad we stayed at the hotel. The room was small even by NYC standard's. The first impression is the lobby and it felt a little dingy and the elevator was a little shabby. To make matters worse the air conditioner went out the first night and it was unbearably hot. The staff is great and they moved us to a different room for the next two nights. We enjoyed the bar and the restaurant is a great option. Neighborhood is great, you can walk to lots of restaurants and cafes and Washington Square is very close. What started out a little rough turned out to be a great time. The hotel really grew on us. It's a 3 star considering age and size but the staff make it a 4 star. We'll definitely go back.
Great staff and very well located
Nothing it all worked well
Lux. hotel in great location for exploring the Village and SoHo, or even midtown and Meat Packing area if you like to walk. The rooms are small, but beautifully decorated as is the lobby and bar. Complimentary breakfast is lovely. Service is always excellent.
Overall, a beautiful hotel in an amazing location!
The room had very limited storage space. There weren't enough drawers or places to unpack, which made it difficult to stay organized
Helpful staff, location, comfort and aesthetics!
