I was a solo female traveler on this trip. There was a woman who appeared to be head of the breakfast dining room, who seemed to go out of her way to express her irritation and possible resentment of my presence having breakfast in her "domain". I ended up having breakfast in the hotel lobby to be away from her - not a good vibe.
The style of the hotel… felt like we were in Paris.
Can’t think of anything that you can do anything about. The bathroom needs to be a little bit wider.
Amaazing hotel!! It was so clean and archaic but reallyh nice., I really enjoyed it and would love to be back. THe staff was super nice as well.

We had a lovely experience at the Marlton Hotel. While the rooms are quite small, they are tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. Our room, located at the rear of the hotel, was very quiet. The staff was attentive and we found the restaurant adjacent to the hotel to be convenient and terrific for a quick lunch. The location was perfect for a weekend getaway to see family in New York City and we will definitely be back!
The hotel was beautiful! The details in the room were very nice. I also enjoyed cocktails in the evening and coffee in the morning in the lovely lobby area.

I liked the location, cozy dining area, and the historic details of the building that made it feel like you were stepping back in time.
Only one soap in the bathroom that I had to move between the sink and the shower. That is literally the only annoyance.
The location is great. The restaurant and lounge were charming. Staff was attentive. interior design of the rooms was lovely. Bed was comfortable. You can get a real whiskey sour from the bar. Breakfast was excellent. For this trip we were near everything we were doing and the subway was very close. The Marlton is now on my list of go to hotels in NYC.
The room was small. Not untypical for NY but pretty tight. For me I will trade space for charm every time but if that is not your jam you are now forewarned.
