Room a little smaller than expected.
A very chic hotel located in a high end shopping area of Lisbon. It is one the nicest hotels I had the pleasure to visit- particularly the grounds were clean and modern. The staff was amazing and welcoming - I even received a small birthday cake with bubbles! If you do book (which I highly recommend), please use the spa facilities and the breakfast package. Lovely staff and great amenities!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good. The bar options for food and drink were good . The location was fine if you don't mind a 20 minute walk into the centre down the main road. The gym was well equipped with free weights and some cardio equipment and the indoor pool and sauna was welcome on a rainy day.
The room was a little.underwhelming. More storage space in the room would have been helpful. One dish in the evening meal was inedible (a rib of beef) but otherwise good.

Hotel elegante,rilassato e silenzioso,posizionato nelle via elegante della città,ma leggermente defilato dal caos del viale principale.Ristorante buono,buono il servizio e la prima colazione buffet.Ottimo anche il servizio bar, che dà possibilità di una sosta o di un snack veloce ma sempre di buon livello.Comodo il letto ,la camera moderna e ben organizzata con luci e prese per le ricariche varie.Bagno con vasca,ottima l idea del pavimento con trattamento anti scivolo,munito di phon asciugacapelli,ciabatte,e asciugamani a volontà.Doccino vicino al wc al posto del bidet.Semplice ma funzionale la Spa

The PortoBay magic that we know and love from Funchal started when the taxi rolled up to the front door and Guest relations came out on the street to welcome us. Niced room. Fabulous breakfast. figs and plums from the garden, the staff sharing jokes with the guests. Don't miss the rooftop bar/solarium. And engage with guest services, their advice is spot on-
The hotel is in an excellent and safe location, just of the High End shopping street Avenue da Liberdade: metro station within 5 mins and 20 mins or so walk to the city centre.
My room was great; lovely sunbathing terrace, decent sized and with loads of storage. And probably one of the best bath/showers I’ve had in an hotel in a long time.
The breakfasts were very good: lots of choice and the eggs Benedict were, like every Potobay hotel I’ve stayed at, very good indeed. I ate in the restaurant one evening which was very good as was the wine and the service.
The staff, reception, housekeeping and dining room waiting staff were all friendly, polite and efficient.
Having the swimming pool was a real bonus during a hot week. And for a city centre hotel it’s a decent size too
A very good PortoBay hotel and I had a very good 5 night stay: I will certainly stay again.
