Great hotel in a beautiful location. Rooms are clean and beautiful. Pool and amenities are 5 star! Staff is outstanding, they above and beyond. Love staying at the Wyndham.
Everything
Everything was perfect
Very nice stay, great location
Great time! Always feel at home! Friendly staff and awesome location! Enjoy the pool bar, has some great food options. The suronding restaurant walk Riverwalk are a welcome addition.
Great location. Friendly staff. Loved the pool and the hot tub. Building was immaculate.
The food. The price of the food. Vending machines were out of order.
We chose the Wyndham Grand Jupiter to be our wedding hotel for ourselves and our guests. The location was excellent and easily accommodated about 50 of our guests. Thankfully we had a discounted room rate given our commitment to the hotel of about $330/night for a regular room (or about $550 for a junior suite). But even at that price point, I think this hotel under-delivered. If I had to pay full price, my review rating would be lower. To start, the hotel did not even acknowledge our wedding upon check-in yet we committed about 40+ room nights to the hotel and about $20k worth of events such as a welcome party and farewell breakfast (both of which were excellent to be fair). Then, on the very first day housekeeping did not even clean our room for no reason at all. Despite calling the front desk around 4:45 pm to remind them to clean, they still did not. When I returning around 7pm I spoke to a very dismissive gentleman at the front desk. Mind you we should have been marked as VIPs in the hotel not regular guests given our wedding and the amount of money spent at the hotel. When housekeeping did come the next days it was completely inconsistent. No coffee replacement, no removal of dirty towels, trash not emptied. This hotel's housekeeping is below standards that I'd expect from a 2 star hotel.
On checkout, the front desk woman was very apologetic and, frankly, was the first person to even acknowledge the hotel's shortcomings. The manager then came out and spoke to me and also offered her sincere apologies. But nothing was actually done. You'd think they could have offered us a token something as a gesture (like comping our parking or a room service bill) but nothing.
I would definitely not recommend this hotel given they try to price themselves as a 5 star hotel but you're lucky if you get 3 star service.
First impression
Was like a ghost town, hardly any staff, hard to get hold of anyone . Room service should be open to 11pm but closed at 6pm. Coffee in lobby only available 7-11am then closed. The little “ village” of restaurants and shops were mostly closed or empty.
I came for two days the past week and was upgraded to a coastal king suite because of my diamond status. All I have to say is Wow! The room was large and immaculate. The balcony is amazing with beautiful views of the coastal waters. The lobby of the hotel is large and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I used the pool once and it was very nice and comfortable and had a large hot tub. This place is a bit pricey compared to other Wyndham properties in the area, but you pay for quality and it is certainly delivered at this property. If I can, I definitely will come back.
The hotel was clean and beds were comfortable
The location was super crowded. Couldn't even get to parking deck to park cause of all the people in the square for events.
Good location for a peaceful stay
Rooms and general walkways starting to look a little tired for the cost
Everything great but none of the ice or drink machines on any adjacent floors were working. Had to request Kleenex. Staff super friendly.
Hotel is fine. Valet staff is rude and unfriendly. The resort fee is a rip-off and it's not really a resort at all. It's a perfectly fine but over-priced hotel.
My immediate interaction with the hotel customer service was poor. The lady checking us in, gave me a lot of attitude And seemed aggravated that I was there and I was a wedding guest. The hotel itself was OK, our room smelled like mildew in the air quality did not seem that great. But the real terrible experience was when we checked out and had an additional $50 tacked onto our bill. I tried to call customer service and I tried to call the hotel with zero resolution from Wyndham. It was extremely disappointing after I had already paid And thought everything was taken care of. After a stay, an additional $50 was taken off of my credit card with no explanation except for a bill that said hotel fees. The hotel and experience was definitely not worth the price. I will not be staying with them again.
Great hotel, 5 star if there ever was one. Beautiful from every aspect of the lodging experience, wonderful will stay here again
In a nutshell, this hotel was no better than a two star hotel but at the price of a five star hotel. There were so many terrible things about this hotel: dirty sheets upon arrival (tons of sand and hair in the bed), a soiled and dirty rug, dirty walls, areas that had not been dusted in years, a very dark half of the room due to inadequate lighting, no drawers for storing clothes (except for two tiny shoebox drawers inside the closet), extremely loud, banging music from a wedding that kept us awake for hours, a small window overlooking an abandoned dusty construction site (and no balcony even at the high price), and non-working equipment like a lamp and blow dryer. And, when they replaced the tiny lamp, it provided very little light. The shower water was scorching hot for a minute or so, followed by lukewarm water.
The engineer who replaced the lamp was drenched in cologne, and after he left, our room smelled terribly of it for some time. Unfortunately, the window could not be opened and there was no balcony door to open to air it out.
Not only should these problems not existed, but there should have been amenities like spring water, (not the hotels branded bottles that contained only unfiltered tap water), robes, and food delivered to your room in take out boxes made of toxic plastic, especially toxic for the hot breakfast my cousin in another room ordered. Even containers for in room coffee, tea and water were made of plastic coated cups. I mean really, even a moderately priced hotel provides real table ware in the room and at the free breakfast dining room.
Then, having to pay resort fees, ridiculously high fees for parking or valet (which were quoted at the time of reservation as half the actual fees), and other miscellaneous fees all on top of the most expensive hotel rate in the Jupiter area was absurd.
Please know that I am not a complainer which my review might suggest, and that I have not exaggerated. Anyone else would have felt the same terribly negative experience.
This hotel chain is clearly mismanaged. We will NEVER stay at another Wyndham hotel. It nearly ruined our trip.
