Staff not acknowledging me at time of entry. Lots of stains in hallways and hair found in floor in room
A hot breakfast was nice to have (with a gluten allergy), but I wasn't sure about the sausages... they didn't seem to bother me much though (there was a spot marked bacon, but no bacon was around that day) scrambled eggs and brown beans were okay. I didn't much like the serving spoons that were all stood up in containers... with cold stuff stuff stuck to them. (kinda gross) - That could be improved greatly in my opinion. Some hot sauce improved the basic scrambled eggs (salsa would be best in my opinion). But all in all it was nice to have a hot breakfast and hot coffee as part of the stay. 😉
Breakfast serving utensils shouldn't be in a tall container with stuff stuck on them. Try a dish or plate for each serving utensil...

I booked two rooms and one reservation was lost. I had originally booked for seven adults 4 in one room and the in the other. When they dropped the three adult booking they then charged the same for the second room that only had three adults. I really didn't want a fight but didn't like paying for 8 adults when we were 6 adults and a three year old.
Handy purchacable snacks etc. Great breakfast options and great coffee. We were in a pet friendly room and it appeared clean however it stunk like dog pee. I wanted to be on the bottom floor because it's easier with kids but I won't take another room that pets have been in! Had to spray perfume and keep windows open to air out room for a couple of hours. Lesson learned!
Pet friendly rooms are not an option! Room had awful smell!
Never got to stay. was called by Holiday Inn manager the week before who cancelled our reservation saying booking should never have given us a room as there was none to be given. They also said they would contact Booking.com and obviously didn't.
Amazing hotel for what you get. Great rooms with comfy beds and bedding. Shower is modern and big for those who are tall. Breakfast is great with nice options for a hotel breakfast. We will for sure be staying here whenever we come to town.

The internet connection was slow and frequently disconnected. Also, there was a fairly strong unpleasant smell in the room. I'm not sure if it was cigarrette smoke or something else, but the room definitely had an unpleasant odor.
