Noisy till 12:30am

Booked as we were flying in late at night and this was just the job. Great price, straight to bed within an hour of landing.

Very close to airport fine for quick stay. Breakfast fine but more variety of fruit needed

Neat and tidy room with a comfortable bed to sleep and relax after a long and exhausting travel time.

Excellent choice for overnight after an international flight arriving late afternoon. Restaurant has a short menu but is well executed. Clean and quiet rooms.

You get what you pay for. The Road Lodge Cape Town is a very okay place. The price was right but for that reasonable price you get a tiny and somewhat loud room. The staff were not all that knowledgeable or helpful in terms of getting around Cape Town. Location so close to airport is a big plus. Communication with the property prior to staying there was poor

The staff was friendly, efficient and polite. The room was nice and clean with all necessary facilities

Very tiny room and bathroom, tight fit for the two of us with all of our bags and most importantly no elevator.

This place is good because of it's close location to the airport, but I don't recommend it! It was very noisy and we were unable to get more than a few hours of sleep. We could hear people walking past our doors all hours of the night and luggage being moved also. It was incredibly loud and noisy.

Older hotel that needs to be updated. Rooms are very small for 2 people with luggage. Bed is comfy (and small for 2). Shower has good pressure and lots of hot water (but very small). Staff are very helpful and friendly. No refrigerator in room but lots of ice available at the reception/breakfast area. Did not eat here so can’t comment. Within walking distance of the airport (via a subway shortcut). Shuttle is an extra charge (read the fine print).

I never actually stayed at the hotel. I booked a nights stay but accidentally booked for today's date and not the actual date I wanted in the future. I then couldn't amend the booking as it had passed the check in time.

I tried calling the hotel but they said they couldn't help me, Expedia tried to help but was told by the hotel there they don't give redunds.

I know it's my mistake but common sense should prevail. I paid money for something I never received.

Didnt sleep much. Very noisy. Doors slamming close, people talking loud. Not a nice experience..

Walking distance to airport for our early flight. Restaurant good with very reasonable prices.

Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast options. Good staff. Comfortable beds.

The downside is no elevator, the sheets looked like they had not been changed, and the rooms are barely large enough to bring your bags inside. That being said, it is incredibly convenient if you get in on a late flight and need to pick up a rental car in the morning.

Loved the convenient location of this Lodge. Staff are AMAZING. Of course there's always ONE young lady who has to disappoint, at the front desk! That 'attitude!' Wish I'd looked a bit closer at her name tag.
Restaurant is so nice, staff are incredible there!. Food is good. Breakfast especially nice! Rooms are not very big, but the linens are FRESH and the beds SO comfortable. I would highly recommend should you be coming off a LONG international flight and need to rest.

Room was a bit small and cramped with no in-room fridge, but was otherwise a very nice place to stay with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, excellent restaurant, very well priced, and within walking distance of the airport (what I was looking for). Will surely stay there again.
