We had a great 4 night stay and City Garden. We were in two rooms on the same floor with our tweens, which worked well. The breakfast is very diverse. The pool is small, but there was always plenty of space and was never overcrowded when we were there. The kids were very happy and we loved the sunsets and night views. The rooftop restaurant is pretty good, although you should make sure you book in a peak time. The lifts weren't quite as bad as other people commented. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and the staff were really helpful. We had a late night flight and were able to store our luggage and use the pool facilities and showers so we could enjoy our last day. Makati is close to lots of things, but it is in the middle of a fairly busy district. We were completely fine with it and found some good local eateries, but worth looking into to make sure it is for you.
The spa staff gave good massages, but were quite grumpy, which meant we went somewhere else for our next massage.
