Peacock Hotel

ホテル自体とても古く、ドアや窓に大きな隙間があり、外から覗けます。
部屋はとても狭く、シーツは茶色、シャワーは水のみでした。スリランカは暑い国とはいえ、朝夕は冷えますので同等クラスのホテルはホットシャワーがついているそうです。
WIFIはレストラン付近でのみ使え、部屋では使えません。
また、朝食付きのプランで予約していたのですが、1日目の食事を突然中断され「お前のプランは朝食付きではないから、お金を払え」と数人で囲まれ脅されました。
予約表を見せても、オーナーまで出てきて「ついていない」の１点ばりで、朝食は取れませんでした。朝からダイビングの予約を入れていたのですが、それにも遅れてしまい、ホテルでの出来事を話したら「そうやって、追加料金を取るのがそのホテルの手口で有名だよ」との事でした。
夕食もレストランで取るように強要されましたが、厨房がとても不潔で料金も高くとても食べられませんでした。
旅行が好きで、バックパッカー旅で安宿にも何度も泊まっていますが、こんなにひどい宿、オーナーは初めての経験です。また帰国後、このホテルの件をHotels.comに相談しましたが、納得がいく対応は頂けませんでした。

I definitely NOT recommend this hotel.
The hotel is very old and dirty. The location is bad.The owner and staff are very rude all the time.
The room is too small,filthy sheets,only cold shower and no WIFI.
I booked breakfast included plan but when I was eating the staff interrupted and said “Your booking is without breakfast so you should pay!” so I showed my reservation page but the owner and staff did’t look and said only ”No No NO!!” so I couln’t eat. The breakfast is only bread,tea and poor fruits thouth.
They also pushed me to eat at their restaurant but it’s terreble and high price.
I love traveling and have many experiences to stay cheap hotels but this is my first time to had this much bad feelings.
Sri Lanka is amazing place and people are very kind and sweet so I don’t know why only this hotel’s people are so rude.
I regret very much that I chose this hotel. Except here,every places,hotels and people of Sri Lanka were perfect.

年配の支配人？の人がとてもいい人。
ベッドメイキングもしてくれないし、wifiも部屋では繋がりにくいが海が目の前。ゴール遺跡へも400ルピーでトゥクトゥクでいけます。

Don't come here. The beach is very boring..there is really nothing to do...the food is overpriced..they have old ladies who can't see the dirt cleaning the rooms. The staff is constantly chattering..mostly, everything is very unprofessional...everything is a bit grimy..flea bitten dogs everywhere..it's not a good place to spend even one day of your vacation. Take a tour of the historical things in Sri Lanka..it's not really the best place for a beach vacation...

Hotellet ligger på den bedste strand, der blev nydt i fulde drag.
Værelserne er billige.
Hotellet forsøgte at få os til at betale ekstra.
Vi fik dårligere værelser end vi have betalt for.
Der manglede håndklæder, toiletpapir og sæbe. Rengøringsdamen tiggede om drikkepenge, da hun kom med dette.

Hotellet ligger et suverænt sted på stranden lige ned til badevenligt hav. Det er en god ide´ at medbringe stor tålmodighed, da serveringen er ekstrem sløv og morgenmaden ikke er værd at skrive hjem om :-).
Badeværelser og madrasser trænger i den grad til at blive opdaterede.

Ik heb een reservering inclusief half pension. Maar bij het inchecken willen ze alleen ontbijt serveren. En voor diner moet ik per dag € 20,- bijbetalen voor 2 personen. Maar er staat duidelijk op mijn bevestiging dat het half pension is.

Super Lage direkt am Strand. Leider war mein zimmer nr6 echt mies. Klimaanlage vom Nachbarn direkt vor der Tür und das klappern war nervig. Außerdem für 2 Personen viel zu klein.

Tak ako vsetky hotely na Sri Lanke. Personal dobry ale vsede spina.

Our second stay overall very good. Room very basic but okay except nowhere to unpack everything had to stay in our bags. Staff were great and friendly.

目の前がビーチで最高。
UNAWATUNAの駅からトゥクトゥクで5分かからない。
部屋は広くてキレイ。hot showerもばっちり。
アメニティはバスタオルのみ。
部屋の前のテラスがとても良い。テラスから夕日も見える。
レストランは高くて時間かかるが美味しかった。
歩いて近くのお安くて美味しい食堂に行けるから問題なし。小さい売店などもある。
駅からホテルまでにfoodcityあるから安く買い出しができて良かった。ホテルからはちょっと遠いのでトゥクトゥクで行った方がよい。
スタッフもフレンドリー。

The perfect location. Best part of the beach. Good restaurant, nice waiters.Plain rooms with AC, no TV, poor internet in the rooms.

Ganske udemærket hotel til prisen. Ligger lige ned til stranden og tæt på øvrige restauranter og barer på stranden. Hotellets egen restaurant er også udemærket men man kan sagtens finde bedre restauranter andre steder i byen. Personalet var meget hjælpsomme. Til prisen er hotellet udemærket.

Три адских дня: орущий ресторан и воняющий доканывал жильцов с окнами на пляж, нам досталось окно над помойкой (делюкс, оплаченный за 9 месяцев до заезда!!!) и видом на дорогу. Наглые уборщицы, - орала, чтобы мы ушли с лоджии, потому что ей надо убрать и совала грязную швабру под ноги, разлила наш кофе - это во втором часу дня)) шумный и подтекающий кондер, недружелюбный персонал, все гости были в ужасе от этого отеля, интернет в номере появился на третьи сутки, когда я пошутила, что напишу в "действующий интернет" об их обманном.

Very hospitable and friendly staff who were welcoming. Room was very comfortable, and the hotel is right by the beach. Certainly will stay here again.

Felt like camping on a construction site! It was noisy all day and night: during the daytime constructions were going on from 6am to 7pm right in front and next to the hotel and during the night there was either some beach dogs barking all night or a disco keeping me awake until 4 am with my bed shaking from the noise! No information pre arrival was given about the ongoing construction and none about the disco next door! Not pleased at all! The staff was very nice but that cannot compensate for a noisy environment and no sleep during your holidays when all you want is rest.
Measly breakfast and bad coffee, don't even bother

+ We had a great experience staying at this hotel! Great view, very helpful and friendly staff , delicious food and beautiful small beach near by.
- Even after cleaning there was a lot of sand all over our room - in bathroom, on a bed, everywhere!!! Also there was no wardrobe or nightstand in the room. We had to put our clothes and swimming suits right on a bed.

I had a great experience for the most part.
For the transportation from the airport, it should be specified that you have to send an email to get it. I understood and other people too, that it was included in the price. There's also no email to send your request.
