It was a nice experience, comfortable and very clean

It was a reasonable place for an overnight stay considering the price

Save and close to mall and restaurants

The property.s location .near the mall is good

I have been in a vehicle accident early April 3024 and having paid for my stay much earlier on 1st March 2024, I called last week to confirm my booking and made the hotel aware of my injury. I arrived at the hotel this past Saturday to check in and was limping balancing on a hospital crutch, sadly and despite limping with a support of a hospital crutch, I was directed to a room on the 2nd floor, worse, the room was not what I had selected and paid for, we made Bongani at reception aware of this and managed to sorted the room isdue quickly, but I was subjected yet again to the trauma of having to use the staircases again to the 1st floor.

Despite my struggle with the staircases while on crutches, your hotel is clean inside and out and seriously deserves a 5 star rating.

Your receptionist Bongani was just as welcoming, but could done better than checking me into a room with a flight of stairs and one I've never selected and moving me into another with stairs again, but overall, he was patient and calm, never gave me a reason to make a noise, instead, I remained calm too. He did what he could at that time.


Compared to the other City, Road and Country Lodges I had visited before, your breakfast menu doesn't match up, I paid breakfast R130 p/p for 4 x adults and there wasn't a variety to pick from, neither was there muesli to add to the yogurt, hot meat was only mince and just one flavor of juice, we had to go to Spurs next door for a much cheaper and tastier breakfast.

Your service is top teer but the place and design it's as if one is in a backroom. The space is extremely small. No complimentary toiletries.

Excellent stuff, excellent experience

I was very disappointed. I specifically booked at the Road Lodge as I wanted twin beds and it was the only accommodation with twin bed available. We arrived to a room with a double bed. The room smelled like smoke. I spoke to the receptionist, and she said there is nothing she can do as I used an agent. After a long discussion she said she will speak to the manager. The manager was in the office next door, heard the conversation but did not even came out of her office, she just send the receptionist to say there was nothing they could do, the hotel was fully booked. They did not even try to compensate.

All was good only the pillows were terrible

The water pressure of the shower was too low. Was difficult to wash long hair in that shower. Breakfast was a bit confusing. Like the milk was on the one side with the porridge, so to get milk for the coffee I had to walk to the other side. Was also waiting for clean glasses for juice.

The rooms are a bit small and the aircon was noisy. The TV was so small and not clear. Otherwise the place was clean

It was really okay. It wasn’t too hectic really! A weekend great stay. Great receptionists and cleaners

Place was neat but the noise at night was too much I even check out a day earlier and went to another place I didn’t even worry about the money I’ve lost.I went for breakfast Friday morning and I love coffee but when I get coffe on the machine only watery stuff came out and only to find out it was not refilled.I told the lady and she took out the bag to the kitchen and too so long to come back I left without having coffee

Towels were hard, bed was hard. Bed side table had stains on it. The receptionist could have been friendlier. But that was about it. Generally well worth it for the money spent.

I only struggled with network and Wi-Fi issues, but I slept well and shower was great. I missed breakfast because I tried reaching reception but couldn't because of data network poor

Everything was lovely but was aware i booked a smoking room. The smell was horrible and pajamas stuck of smoke after a sleep

My stay at this place was amazing cant complaint about anything, i was just here for overnight stay.
