I have enjoyed my stay so much, thank you to the wonderful service and your friendly and always ready to assist staff Phila, Nosipiwo, Zikhona, Babalwa, Charlie and Wonga. My room was fresh and clean thanks to the housekeeping department; I was just unhappy with how long our orders took about an hour or so

It was a perfect place to stay as far as location. The staff was wonderful. They even had a plug for me to use so I could use my US outlets because the one I brought din't work. The staff was very helpful with luggage and any information! Very caring! Small room. Clean! Ocean so close, but not safe to walk there. No wash clothes or tissue.

It was right across the street from the race start and both transitions. They even opened up the buffet breakfast at 4 AM to accommodate the racers and their.

Amazing and will be back

I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding a charge made to my account for a booking at your hotel, which I neither made nor stayed for.

In early December, I received a call requesting payment for what I understood to be the outstanding balance at the Southern Sun, where I had stayed. However, it has since come to my attention that the payment of R4000+ was processed for your hotel instead. I never booked, confirmed, or stayed at your establishment, and I am extremely perplexed as to how the exact balance from my Southern Sun stay was used to facilitate this charge.

This situation has caused significant inconvenience, and I respectfully request a full refund of R4000+ as soon as possible. Please investigate this matter urgently and provide an explanation for how this error occurred.

I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.

Only good things about this facility is the location and breakfast.
It is very rare for me to feel so unwelcome as in this place. From the check in to check out, front desk staff are just rude and arrogant. Feel sorry for them to work in such negative environment. This is the only City-lodge affiliated place I have stayed in who has so little to give.
Rooms are DIRTY, carpets smell rotten when water from the aircon comes out, toilet smells like a public pissoir. Cleaning and servicing leaves a lot to be desired.

Even for a 2 star facility this is under par, I was indeed happy to leave!
Management should be ashamed of themselves!

The room was very good, the staff I met - Wonga Charlie, Oyama and Shanel (chef) were very professional, polite and caring.

The food - the breakfast was super.(I only ate breakfast), I have never eaten such nice scones anywhere not even at Woolies. I enjoyed my breakfast looking at the beach. Itwas nice.
Even the location is very ideal - walking distance to Broadwalk Mall

Awesome place to stay. So close to the beach. Lots of entertainment and places to eat near by. Barneys delicious food. The boardwalk shopping, entertainment and casino within walking distance. Can totally advice anyone interested to stay to make use of the Road Lodge. Friendly staff.

Staff are not friendly they gossip about you in Xhosa not knowing I can speak the language. They talk amongst each other while you check in. Really not interested in your stay ,no request what room you would like to prefer. Smoker or non smoker ,no advise on breakfast times
