Yes had breakfast and evening meal the food and service was amazing. the guy on reception and serving us was fantastic, he was so polite smiling and i heard him having a conversation with one of the other customers about how he just loves his job.
My husband came down around 3am on the Tuesday to go outside to the car but the main entrance door was locked as he was trying to get out a car pulled up and the person apologised and opened the door, concerning for myself as i would expect the door to be locked on a night time but not for the key holder to be offsite? is this standard protocol?
Excellent staff engagement and fantastic Scottish breakfast
Great location
Lovely hotel, staff friendly, rooms comfortable..
Nothing to complain about
My daughter and I stayed here a few months ago and didnt hesitate to book the hotel when we needed to stay in prestwick again. The Carlton is so clean, comfortable and welcoming, it was like a 'home from home'. The breakfast was first class and the evening meal was delicious, the staff were attentive and friendly. We will definitely be booking to stay here again and would recommend The Carlton to others.
I have nothing negative to say.
All good.
Single bed to small

A very friendly welcome, super clean hotel and very accommodating

The rooms are not big but fine for a short stay. It was clean and modern with a bath not a walk in shower. Good tea making items provided and large TV. Comfortable bed and good heater in room and heated towel rail in bathroom. Logan's bar, dining room has a good atmosphere and drinks and food very good. Good cooked breakfasts available. All Staff provided good service with a smile. Stayed before and would stay again.
Price was a lot higher than last year. No draw unit to store clothes in.
Have stayed multiple times before over last few years for one night.
Very clean and newly decorated.
Price has increased dramatically, now I don’t feel it represents good value for money.
Quoted £170 by hotel directly and booked through booking.com for £140
