It was a bad decision for me to chose this hotel. Shower not working, TV was not working, drainage blockage, toilet flush not working, one small spoon is not enough after paying the huge amount. This rate is sufficient for bed and breakfast in other hotels. Really bad choice this time for me and good lesson learnt while selecting hotels.

A peaceful getaway.

My husband and I were booked to stay in this hotel through our travel planner in Pokhara in late of March this year. I extended a night stay with Expedia during our honeymoon and had a truly wonderful stay here. The property is just as beautiful as it is in the photos especially the pool and garden area! The hotel is very private and intimate and is a great home base to explore some beautiful places in the area. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful despite the language barrier, all of them spoke English very well. The hotel has a restaurant on site and they do serve a lovely breakfast each morning, we enjoyed BBQ and camp fire during out stay. Its quite far from center of Pokhara but it isn't a big deal since the drive to Lake site is so short(5 Min). We can't wait to go back!

Well hidden treasure within Pokhara.

If you are looking for the best view in Pokhara with only 5 min drive to the Jal Mahal, this is where you would want to be staying.
Rooms are beautiful, bright, clean and modern. Each room has an amazing view and you have the feeling you are staying alone in the hotel (no vis a vis at all). Also the surroundings of the hotel, the huge pool, the restaurant, the garden.

The hotel is easy to find and perhaps easier to get in. And once inside, you are at an oasis. So beautiful and peaceful. free parking. I am glad I found this hotel.

Great visit to Pokhara

The hotel staff were fabulous. They took great care to meet all of our expectations. The suites with a view offer a great view of the swimming pools and direct access to them.

My wife and I were very pleased with our trip to Pokhara and the Himalayas.

He booked this hotel due to its pool and the Himalayan landscape. We made a good decision to stay here. We stayed there as part of a previously agreed tour. The rooms were a good size, clean and quiet. The location was close to some local stores and undiscovered places, but not in an interesting part of the city. You need to hire a taxi to get to the main shopping / eating areas / tourism area. The last morning we were there and we could see the Annapurna range clearly from the hotel. There are not many places to eat nearby. The hotel restaurant is fine. I would definitely recommend staying at this Jal Mahal.

Best hotel in Pokhara!

We were so happy with our decision booking this Hotel. It was our best experience at their Pool. They are going some major renovation as well. The garden would look more lively very soon. We would love to visit here again whenever we are at Pokhara. The staff were very friendly and helping with our luggage.

Remember: The location of this Hotel is off to Lakeside. So if I need to give a genuine advice. Ask them a shuttle to Lake side enjoy your day, call them back to pick you up and enjoy your night there. We did the same.

Perfect stay at Hotel Jal Mahal.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are very good being spacious with large beds and very comfortable.
There are facilities for making hot drinks in the rooms with coffee and tea bags and the bathrooms are good.
The main restaurant is good. The food was good but we’d have preferred Nepalese food.
Breakfast was good with some good choices and some delicious Masala Tea and Organic Coffee.
We had a room with a view of The Pool. The pool was directly accessible by our room. The view of the Himalayas are magnificient from the Hotel.

The garden is an absolute gem.

Perfect place to stay with family.

We booked this hotel for a night. However we extended our stay by 3 nights due to the familiar environment of this hotel. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the Pool and we too. The three pool with different depth are the highlights. Thanks for the great care during our stay. We appreciate you help on providing us the shuttle to Pokhara Lake side.

Good view but away from happening place but very good staff

Vi havde et blandet ophold på ChaChaWhee resort.
Værelserne var fine, pæne møbler, behagelige senge, meget lille badeværelse, hvor alt bliver vådt, når man bader, rigeligt med varmt vand i hanerne. Desværre var der ikke ordenlig rent. Rengøringspersonalet gjorde absolut kun hvad de (formentlig) har fået besked på: rede senge, pudse spejle, give toiletpapir, feje og vaske gulv. Overalt på møblerne og i vinduerne var der støv og edderkoppespind - ret ulækkert.
En venlig og opmærksom dame (forstanderinden eller ejeren?) kontaktede os på vores anden dag og tilbød os et ekstra værelse ved siden af uden beregning, idet de var opmærksomme på at vi var 4 personer og havde meget bagage og lidt plads. Det var meget venligt og en fin service udover det sædvanlige.
Maden på hotellet var virkelig lækker! Tjenerne var dog ikke alle lige kompetente - selvom de gentog vores ordre ved bestilling, fik vi flere gange tilbehøret (ris og nanbrød), og nogle gange drikkevarer, efter vi havde spist hovedretten. Men det smagte godt. Ulig hvad vi har læst i anden anmeldelse, kunne vi ikke få serveret tidlig morgenmad, hverken den morgen vi ville tidligt afsted til Sarangkot eller på vores afrejsemorgen, hvor vi skulle afsted 6:15.
Hotellet er beliggende ca. 45 min. gang ind til Lakeside. Det er en fin spadseretur, hvor man får set lidt lokalliv på vejen og man kan tage en taxa hjem om aftenen.
Der er en flot udsigt til Annapurnabjergene fra hotellet - bedre end fra byen.

Stay with children is fantastic. Far from noise and peaceful\silent place. Place is far from fewa lake so if you have vehicle then hotel for stay is excellent.

Not applicable. I was not able to stay. It's right next to the airport far away form the lake, mountains, restaurants, etc. For the same price there are better options.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and it was a very pleasant stay. The mountain views are amazing from the hotel . Resort owner Dinesh is a great guy and very helpful incase there are any problems being faced by guests.

The property is undergoing a change from a theme park type of property for children to a more adult resort so some construction is going on. The room was comfortable and the owners were very helpful with everything. Even though it literally borders the Pokhara Airport we never heard any planes. Overall a good stay and a good story to tell how we accidentally booked our trekkers stay at a kids play resort.

Once you stay there you will not resist yourself from staying there on each n every visit... Even if you are a five star freak.... Service levels and hospitality are commendable ., you are being looked after as if you are their personal guest or relative....words are not enough to define staff attributes ... Normally reaching pool needs lot of movement and thoughts but here you just need to step out of the room and in the pool... you will have a jaw dropping morning with magnificent snow mountain view of the Annapurna ....... food too is yummy !!!!!
