Not for me, would not recommend
Pros:

The room was quite nice with a small kitchen area and lots of storage. Breakfast was adequate and had most of the standard fair.

Cons:

The room was very noisy, single glazing didn't help. The room overlooked what turned out to be the party area of the city and the noise of shouting, singing and sirens went on most of the night especially the second night after the German football win. Staff were not the most friendly we have encountered. There was a function which started in the large foyer which pretty much blocked the entrance so made it difficult to get in and out.

The location was excellent, the hotel rooms are small but clean and comfortable. some our family had no aircon and the staff on reception would not give them a fan.. it was 35oc very uncomfortable. I dont think we should have paid there bill.

The bar was closed to residents most of our stay, we couldn't meet our family for drinks or dinner or lunch. It is unusual for a hotel not to cater for their paying guests My husband and I have stayed 4 times in this hotel and we recommended it to all our family.......most were very disappointed. We will not stay again.

Lovely quiet room in a nice part of Dusseldorf
Pros:

The room was got was very quiet and comfortable. The room facilities were excellent. I am often dissatisfied with the showers, etc. in hotel rooms - those in this hotel were so wonderful, I didn't want to leave.

The staff welcomed us with a refreshing drink, perhaps in sympathy for our grueling Deutsche Bahn trip. They were helpful, friendly and kind throughout out stay.

Should I ever come back to Dusseldorf, this hotel will be at the top of my list for accomodations.
