Pros:

Spacious room and spacious bathroom. Comfortable beds. Right on the beach in a more isolated area which was less busy, but still walking distance to a nice beach club for food and drinks. Tapioca and eggs made fresh at breakfast

Cons:

Breakfast could've been better. Not a lot of options. Based on online reviews, I expected the breakfast to be bigger and better, but maybe the variety was scarse because it was low season.

Pousada Maravilhosa, funcionários simpáticos e prestativos, sempre sorrindo. Limpeza excepcional, vista divina e um bar e restaurante impecáveis! Vale a pena experimentar as caipiroskas de frutas! Ahhh o Fillet Mignon Escalope ao Molho de Mostarda nos deixou sem palavras! Resumindo AMEI!!!

Mamãe é idosa e encontrou um pouco de dificuldades com as escadas, mas isso não tirou o brilho de nossa estadia!

Cons:

O café da manha é uma zona! O local do café é uma bagunça, junto da recepção do hotel. Não colocam nem jogo americano nas mesas, o local é LOTADO de moscas e dividem o café por horarios. Colocaram a gente no ultimo horario (09:10 às 10h) e 09:50h já retiraram tudo.
O quarto é Ok, mas muito barulhento (dava para escutar tudo) e com uma janela enorma na frente da cama que não dava para escurecer. Ou seja, acordamos todos os dias com a claridade no rosto.

The perfect mix of peaceful comfort and kite community
Pros:

I stayed at Windtown Beach Hotel and what stood out most was how well everything is balanced. The hotel itself is calm, green, and very comfortable, with a relaxed atmosphere that never feels busy or chaotic.

At the same time, you’re right in the heart of Cumbuco’s kitesurf scene. It’s easy to meet other riders, share sessions, and organize downwinders, and then come back to the hotel to relax by the pool or unwind in the garden.

The location works really well: close to restaurants, shops, and bars, but still quiet enough to properly rest. Getting to and from the airport is straightforward, and it’s reassuring to know that medical facilities are nearby as well.

A great choice for longer stays if you want reliable wind, a strong kite community, and a hotel that stays peaceful even during the busy season.

Cons:

Vigias terem acesso ao controles de AR. Tive problema com AR( controle ) durante a noite e o funcionário não teve como ajudar mas consegui com ajuda de outro hóspede.

Localização excelente à beira‑mar: o fato de estar praticamente na praia, com vista e acesso fácil à faixa de areia — ideal para relaxar ao final de um dia de trabalho ou até mesmo caminhar à beira‑mar. Quartos limpos e confortáveis.Em resumo: conforto, boa localização à beira‑mar, equipe simpática e ambiente relaxante — ideais para recarregar as energias depois de um dia de trabalho.

Cons:

Distância do “centro” de Cumbuco: o hotel fica um pouco afastado do centro da vila, cerca de 800 m a pé, o que pode ser menos prático para quem precisa de restaurantes, serviços ou deslocamentos rápidos para reuniões. Café da manhã poderia ser melhor: embora satisfaça a maioria, a oferta é “simples”. Em resumo: distância até o centro/vila, opções de café da manhã e serviço de quarto limitados, e questões menores de conforto podem não atender expectativas de viajantes que priorizam praticidade e serviço completo. A piscina tb não fica na vista-mar e é um pouco limitada.
