The location and our room was fantastic

Cons:

The dinner service staff were untrained on punctuality and attentiveness. From the time we sat down on our first night eating in the restaurant it took 15 mins for someone to bring menus. Then took 15 mins to take our order.. then everything we did order was not available. When we did finally order the food was really nice. We w had to request the menu again for dessert… and to pay our bill. I believe this is not the table staff’s fault but the fault of the person training them on what the restaurant patrons should expect

Pleasant stay in a quiet part of Ubud
Pros:

It is located in a quiet part of town and the layout is very tranquil, spread out and attractive. The planting is beautiful and the individual rooms are presented well within the garden layout. The pool is very nice.

Cons:

The breakfast service was quite poor, pre-ordered breakfasts went missing two days in a row.

everything. loud construction noise, lots of stairs making entry and exit to the room unsafe. lock on doors did not work and took about 15 minutes per door to open rooms in need of renovation. Pool in need of renovation. rude reception.

Fabulous location in the middle of everything.
Pros:

Love Nicks. We have stayed a few times. Location is great. Staff are lovely. Food at the restaurant is fantastic. We had an upstairs superior room that had been recently renovated. Bathroom looked brand new.

Cons:

We loved our upstairs room but the stairs were a killer. Will ask for downstairs next time.
