Pros:

The property is a walking distance to almost all main attractions in Bukit Tinggi (Jam gadang and etc). The location is very convenient for my 2 night stays with my family. The staffs were very helpful and very welcoming. We love the vibe, the people, the location. This hotel is definitely recommended and it would be the best option if I go back to Bukit Tinggi in the future.

Cons:

There is no notification or announcement to the guest for evening time and keep silent and respect other guest. The room next to me 606 had a party till 3 in the morning, and other room was played with door bell after 10 pm. The hotel management should stress the silent time to its guests! as hotel room is a place for resting, not playing or partying.

Pros:

Location very good. Few minutes walk to the centre. Safe area with a police station next door. As Bukittinggi is an elevated area the temperatures are lower than normal. Great but it also meant that the pool is , refreshing. Nice seat around the pool and you can order drinks and food. Staff very friendly. All in all a great place to stay

Pros:

The location of Grand Rocky Hotel was excellent — close to attractions, shops, and restaurants. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of local and international options. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Cons:

The walls were very thin. We could clearly hear loud music, laughter, and talking from the room next door around midnight. It went on for almost two hours before we had to call reception to ask for assistance.

Otherwise, it’s a nice hotel with good service and amenities — just wish the rooms were better soundproofed.
