Regency Grand Hotel Manila is a nice hotel for the price!
Pros:

The room was very nice, spacious and clean. The heat pumps did an excellent job keeping it cool despite the brutal heat in Manila. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I really liked the little touches in the room like the lighting was very nice. The bathroom mirror was very modern and the fan worked well. Overall a very nice room especially for what I paid. Great to be across the street from the Robinson mall that actually has a great deal of stores.

Cons:

The door handle was sometimes tricky to get open even after unlocking it. There was a strange trick to opening it. I managed to get it open every time I only had to ask for help twice. The shower was really nice but it drained kind of slowly. The balcony area was a nice view but looked like it could use some TLC there was a little sink that needs a reno. Those might have just been problems with my room and not the entire hotel. Other than that just the immediate area itself is a bit sketchy especially at night but I never felt unsafe.
