Iris House Hotel Cameron Highlands

I had booked two rooms but they only had one room. The fabric and furniture and furnishings were very poor. Bath towels were very old and brown with age. No coffee making facilities, television not working
Windows not able to close. No controls in room for the aircondition.
Only positive thing was the first receptionist was very apologetic and helpful but everything was out of her control.
Certainly wouldn’t recommend any one staying there

a very rundown property. the toilet fittings are old, damaged and dirty. the kettle is broken, old and dirty. Will not come back to this hotel again!

All ok, but toilet system is not in a good condition

Staff wasn't good in manner. Wifi provided was fake, totally couldn't use. No towels and shampoo at all, end up went out to buy purposely. The most funniest thing was, after check out the staff called and asked whether we took the towel. Luckily just stayed one night, and will nvr return again.

Still with tv dysfunction and coffee/tea not provided without apropriate price flux. Wifi less access on high floor.

Breakfast need to be provide

Strategic location and it's walking distance to nearby shops and restaurants. The hotel cleanliness needs to be improved. The bedsheet and blanket not clean.

Near with attractive place

Advertised with free WiFi but both nights we weren’t able to connect to WiFi. Room need a little more cleaning especially bed sheet and blanket. Found too much lint and hair when flipped opened.

The room is big, we got 2 single beds. Toilet clean. Towel and toiletries need to ask at customer service. Also no free drinking water and 3in1 coffee/tea anymore compare my last year stay here.

The bad thing is bedsheets I think they dont wash/change it because my whole body got itchy and cannot sleep all the night. Same with my 2 daughters.
The room don't have fan, cameron highlands today not very cold anymore, hotel should install ceiling or wall fan for quest comfort.

Smelling inside the room once open. Bedsheet and blanket not clean, need request to change. No toiletries provided and telephone has no connected at the time.
Suggest install at least fan in the room, so air will fresh inside the room to reduce noisy sound from outside for us just could open a window or balcony door.

overall not bad. to improve on room amenities such as in door shoe

the room is spacious, can fit me, husband and our 3 kids comfortably, enough space to perform prayer. we checked in late, at 8.30 p.m, but the towels and shampoo were not prepared in the room. luckily we brought our own towels and shampoo. It was sent a bit later, nearly 10 p.m. The wall near the bed is dusty, but it is not a big issue for me as i was only there for a night and we checked out at 8.30 a.m the following day. Worth for money spent, definitely will come back. *we get 30% discount eating at the restaurant below the hotel. ;)
