Comfortable stay with good breaktfast in center town colonial style hotel
Pros:

Very good breakfast. Clean rooms and good beds. Great parking space. Beautiful building right in the city center. Airconditioning functioning well.

Cons:

Staff at the counter during check in not very communicative, did not make eye contact. No room service. Rooms at the street side are quite noisy because of traffic until 22pm, even with the double glazing.

Pros:

A previsão era ficar uma noite, mas o hotel tem uma atmosfera tão acolhedora que resolvemos ficar mais um dia. Uma agradável surpresa.

Cons:

Como ficamos duas noites, e não uma como previsto, precisamos trocar de quarto. Ao fazermos essa mudança, esquecemos roupas no armário. Foi impressionante a indisponibilidade dos recepcionistas do hotel de falar com o hóspede que ficou no quarto em que estávamos. Não só por fazer contato com ele, como insistindo que não havíamos deixado nada no quarto, atitude muito desagradável por parte da recepção, que me obrigou a tomar outra atitude.

Gran Hotel México, a beautiful gem in Tehuacán.
Pros:

The attention and service from everyone have been top-notch. The place itself is gorgeous with an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. A true gem in the center of Tehuacan. It is an institution in this city, and its new encarnation is really amazing in quality and tradition. There is nothing better for a truly relaxing getaway than this historic hotel.

Cons:

The beautiful swimming pool needs to be warmer to be as enjoyable as the rest of the hotel.

Pros:

Very classic spanish elegance in a very up to date older hotel. The room was super comfortable, pool area very nice, breakfast was a full breakfast. The hotel was a block from the zocalo and close to dining and shopping options.

The staff members were courteous and competent.

Nos alojamos en este hotel solo una noche durante nuestro viaje por el centro de México, y fue suficiente para dejarnos una impresión muy profunda.

Gran Hotel México by Solaris es un lugar sorprendente. Está ubicado en pleno centro de la ciudad, rodeado de vida, movimiento y sonidos urbanos, con una iglesia cercana cuyas campanas aportan un encanto especial a los alrededores.

Sin embargo, al cruzar la puerta del hotel, todo cambia.
El edificio es una antigua hacienda histórica, con una estructura cerrada y rectangular, que guarda en su interior un verdadero oasis. El ruido queda afuera y aparece la calma: silencio, cigarras y un hermoso jardín interior con un magnífico flamboyán, todo perfectamente cuidado.

El hotel tiene más de 100 años de historia como hotel, y antes fue una hacienda próspera. A pesar de su antigüedad y valor histórico, el lugar luce impecable, casi como nuevo.

Las habitaciones son cómodas y muy limpias. Todas tienen la misma distribución, pero es importante saber que algunas dan a una calle transitada. Por la noche puede escucharse el paso de motos o coches sobre la calle empedrada. Por eso, recomendamos pedir una habitación que no dé a la calle, ya que el hotel también cuenta con una orientación mucho más silenciosa.

El personal es atento y profesional, y la comida es excelente: sabrosa, bien presentada y hecha con alma.

Este lugar merece ser visitado por sí mismo, como parte del patrimonio histórico del centro de México.
En resumen, una experiencia magnífica.
Un hotel con historia, carácter y un contraste único entre la energía de la ciudad y la paz de su interior. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
