A charming and authentic stay with exceptionally kind staff, though not very English-friendly.
Pros:

The staff was incredibly helpful and did their utmost best to assist us in every possible way. And in terms of location, it’s perfect if you’re into diving, as the dive shops are just around the corner from the hotel. The room

Cons:

The hotel mainly caters to local and Asian tourists. You’ll definitely manage in English with the staff (I have nothing bad to say about them as they were great) but as a European or generally English-speaking guest, you should be prepared for the fact that almost nothing is written or labeled in English. That does add a certain charm, since you’re on holiday in a foreign country, but it’s not exactly practical when it comes to things like breakfast or dinner. So you really have to switch your mindset a bit if you’re staying here with a non-Asian background.
