Lovely hotel near the convent in Izamal
Pros:

Staff is friendly. The hotel is clean. The rooms are very spacious. They have a nice pool, swings, and open space.

Good and convinient stay
Pros:

The hotel is walking distance from the bus terminal and the convent. The room was so spacious a sitting area will fit.
TV had good reception, and we watch The Oscars 2026. The water had excellent pressure in the sink and shower. To go to the restaurant, there is a steep stairs, but we didn’t have any problems going up. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. The only problem was the WiFi didn’t work, so we had to pay cash.

Cons:

The pool is too dark. It needs more light at night.

Pros:

Grundsätzlich wäre das Hotel in Ordnung, kommt aber auf die Lage der Zimmer an. Das Schlafzimmer und das Badezimmer sind gross und die Dusche funktioniert einwandfrei.

Cons:

Wir hatten das Zimmer nr. 4, welches direkt an der Strasse angrenzt. Da das grosse Fenster keinem europäischen Standard entspricht, ist es auch mit Oropax nicht möglich zu schlafen. Am schlimmsten sind die lauten Motorräder und die streuenden Rudel Strassenhunde. Ausserdem sehr laut ist auch die Klimaanlage. Nervig ist, dass alle Steckdosen ausgeleiert sind und keine auf einer Höhe wo Handys etc. aufgeladen werden können. Die Lichtschalter sind weit weg vom Bett und sehr umständlich zu erreichen wenn man ins Bett geht oder zwischendurch aufs WC. Im Gang zwischen WC und Schlafzimmer hat es ein grosses Fenster, wo das Licht vom angrenzenden Büro, insbesondere in der Nacht, das Schlafzimmer erhellt. Zusammengefasst: Zimmer Nr. 4 ist nicht brauchbar.

The hotel is in a good location, the staff is helpful.
