Friendly and convenient but dated plumbing
Pros:

Staff fantastic, room was huge, comfy bed, good heating. Location was very convenient to the main road but did not hear traffic noise. Was also close to the hotel next door for meals and it was great to be given discounts for the pub meals and a free drink.

Cons:

The plumbing was really noisy so that every time anyone in a room near us ran the water or flushed the toilet we could hear it, which woke us up during the night.
