Bad service, clueless staff. They pretend to understand English but don't. Or care not to understand.
Hotel was not up to our expectatipns. Some construction was going on. The passages and aisles are very narrow. The sockets for charging the mobile was terrible. The plug wouldnot fit into the socket. In some position it would connect. It was with great difficulty I could charge my mobile. I had to get up often inthe night to check whether the charging was going on. There was only one plug pointin the room and three of had to charge our mobiles. It was a harrowing experience. Restaurant was good. No news paper in the rooms. No network inthe rooms or in reception. Staff were polite.
Don't get fooled on the paint and external look.
Rooms are too congested. Washroom is horrible and the condition of door lock is unbelievable.
Overall not good for people who are on pleasure trip.
It was my worst experience ever in any hotel. The rooms were so dirty and no hygiene level is maintaned. All the rating looks false and it should not come in any website since they fool people and don,t even listen for basic thing. Couple of facts: 1. Rooms sheet were torn and untidy 2. Toilet water tank of rooms (101 and 201 i van give specific room numbers as well) are broken and they will allot you rooms saying that these are last rooms they have. 3. warm water comes grom 4-6 am only so you have to follow army displine if you have to stay there don't think to ne in holiday 4. Room service is so bad and even there restaurant is more worst no cleaning. 5. There rooms stink( room 103 ) like humid and in tolerable to live.
Overall it was my worst experience and i will suggest u to remove them from your list for ever.
Stay was good,the facilities they give are very good ,but as they say, they have parking facilities,actually they don't have. ... They Have a small space infront of their hotel
Spend couple of nights with family. Nice location, decent rooms, but they would do well if they could improve service
The room was very durty and used(looked like the pictures was taken 10 years ago). Damp and not possible to breath without getting headache. There was airconditioning but they took the remote control and demanded that we paid 50% extra per night to turn it on. There was no hot water. No water heater for tea/coffee as promised. No free wifi in the room as promised on hotels.com - only avaible in lobby. The hotel is not a 3,5 star hotel. I wouldnt give it 1 star.

After complaining about dirty and bloody bed sheet the changed it to new there was just as dirty. Due to all this we checked out after 3 hours but we havent yet seen the return on our credit card as promised.
Go instead to the Seashore hotel. So much better than this dirty hotel.
This is the best hotel to stay in Kanyakumari.

We had a travel delay and when I called them they were so good to us and said not to worry.
They woke me up at 7:30 in the morning to give me water -- and try to take a breakfast order. Very unthoughtful (rude) policy. Did I ask for a wake up call? No I did not. The rooms are dark (with windows that face nearby walls). You need a key to unlock the door from the inside! And when you take your key out of the electricity port, it is so dark that it is hard to even see where the keyhole is. Common sense? My friend booked the exclusive (one only) Ocean View room, which had like 8 inches of glass at the top of the wall (with a view to the sky, not the ocean). Such an obvious misrepresentation. Also, they were dishonest about internet; I was present when the same friend showed the hotel clerks right there in the lobby that their online booking description that said "internet access "in every room". (Internet is in the lobby only.) They just shrugged their shoulders. I couldn't cancel, but for future reference, I did search around and find a nearby hotel - almost the same price -- with a Swimming Pool on Top (!) and all rooms with internet and windows facing offering a true Sea View! Sigh! Live and Learn!
There was a few problems. The first problem is that they advertise an "Ocean View Room" and it cost 1,200 Rupees more. In fact it is a waste of money because there is actually a view of a roof with a 2 foot strip of blue far far away that can hardly be seen. Don't waste the extra money. The next problem is that they advertise free Wi Fi in the rooms on Hotels.com There is no free Wi Fi in the room, only in there very tiny lobby. The walls in all the hallways are dirty.
Our stay was not pleasant at all . will never recommend this place to anyone.Dirty staff not helpfull food not good.
It was OK. No exhaust fan in bath room and had to open the room window for air. Room is small. But location is great walkable to sea and mkt.room service was good ordered dinner once and tea coffee was good. Room service staff was great. They need to review their receptionist or reception staff need to be more smiling and customer friendly which I saw was missing. Over all a OK to good hotel. No view out the window so open not but for air circulation I had to open it.
The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms are adequately sized and have all the basic amenities. Could have been better if the toiletry kit had more than just soaps.
The hotel does not have a restaurant and one has to avail room service only. Breakfast is available only from 7.00 AM which could be earlier as tourists usually get up early to watch the sunrise and travel out to distant locations.
Overall a good hotel with basic amenities.
However, being very close to the shore gives it an advantage that it is only a few minutes walk
The hotel is nice, in good condition and relatively modern. The room was of good size and the amenities all functioned well. Unfortunately our bathroom had an unpleasant odor from when we arrived. And though hotels.com lists this property as having wifi in the rooms, it does not, it only has wifi in the lobby, which was a disappointment. Still, I was appreciative of the lobby wifi, which had decent speed. The staff was reasonable, neither great nor terrible. The location is excellent, in the area of other nice hotels in Kanyakumari, close to the temple and the ferry.
The foyer was full of flies and all employees wore slippers and had a funny smell. The hall way to the elevator was not a/c and not vented. The elevator only went to 3rd floor and had to take the stairs thereafter and the elevator had a bad odor, they hung a garland in the elevator which was stale and had a smell. The bed sheets were all stained and the room was musty as the windows remain open and no toiletries were provided, neither the toilet paper. The whole area is unhygienic and smelly. Not a location to stay, visit for the day and head back.
Hotel was booked solid and we were placed in neighboring Hotel Sea Face as an upgrade. For the trouble of moving us, the hotel offered a complementary breakfast. Alas, the morning of breakfast, the restaurant followed us around and insisted that we pay. Our friend went back and checked with the hotel and was told that breakfast was not included. Very embarrassing! And no apologies to boot. Get things in writing with this hotel!
On a more positive note, we had a great view at Hotel Sea Face, but since it is new, it lacked all traditional amenities such as tea kettle, shampoo, conditioner, etc. We may have been the only guests in there!
A very good Hotel nice and clean with big rooms. Room sevice is also nice and food served in rooms is excellent quality. Cleanliness is very good. Only bad experience was that after checkout, till we waited for our Taxi to arive, the waiting lounge is very small and non-air conditioned. There is no Toilet for persons in waiting and we were provided Toilet used by working staff. We hope Hotel will improve upon this fact in our next visit.
Stay was good when you compare with in the budget hotels. Recommended for a family trip. Location is another advantage.
Overall good experience. Due to the holiday rush (Pooja holidays) the staff were under pressure to serve customers and so sometimes service was a bit slow. Had booked a DLX Sea View room. However the geyser did not work. But staff provided hot water in bucket. I booked the room through Expedia.com where the tariff clearly says the the charge is INCLUSIVE of breakfast. However the staff are not aware of this and so did not provide complimentary breakfast. Hotel should correct this error as it creates wrong impression in the mind of the customer. I have seen this complaint in earlier customer reviews and yet the hotel does not correct this error on their website. It is only a matter of Rs 200 max for breakfast and either they correct the error OR when such a question does arise, they should take a decision to give the customer the benefit of doubt and provide breakfast. This will surely bring them better reviews and more referral customers.
