Poor value for money.
Pros:

Pleasant staff. Beds were comfortable.

Cons:

The breakfast was average. Empty cold milk container every morning (had to ask) and limited fresh fruit. I had full breakfast the first day but eggs & bacon were served cold. I settled for continental the next few days. No bananas the last day - apparently out of stock- then they found them after I complained.
Shower door leaked so had to clean up the water.
TV was small.
The room was noisy!
The front desk staff could be more welcoming.

Overall, it was just fine
Pros:

Breakfast was good but they can improve on their scrambled eggs.

Cons:

The circle just before their entrance isn’t user-friendly. There are many cars parked there & it looks a bit dodgy.

It was quite disappointing for the price paid and the experience you expect from a City Lodge hotel.
Pros:

We asked to sit outside which we were told is fine. I asked one of the staff if we could get some cutlery etc. outside and she said she would arrange it. I went back after quite a while to ask her where it was, and she pointed to a counter and said she left it there for me. I thought that was very poor. The breakfast was fairly average to be honest, not the greatest experience I have had in a hotel.

Cons:

I checked in at 14:15, and was sent to a room that still had not been cleaned or prepared. I went back downstairs to inform reception and the lady was very kind and sincere in apologising. She did offer another room but it wasn't one that met my requirements or what I booked for. I eventually got into the room at 15:30 while housekeeping was finishing up. I was disappointed that there was no small fridge in the room, nor was there any water provided for drinking. I would have paid for this if I had known, it's a small thing but does make a difference to a traveller.
