I specifically reported to reception that my room had not been serviced and was personally assured housekeeping would attend to it. I returned at 7:30pm to find the bed unmade and the room untouched. I was then told there were no staff available and it could only be cleaned the next morning, when I was checking out.

My requested room was also unavailable on arrival despite repeated confirmation.

I paid the full rate but did not receive the basic service I paid for. This is not my first similar experience at City Lodge Fourways. Deeply disappointing and unacceptable.
